Hobe's Country Ham Hocks 2/12 Oz Seasoning Bone DOES NOT REQUIRE REFRIGERATION UNTIL OPENED

The package I received was of very low quality. It contained two ham hocks. One had no bone. The other had more bone than fat and meat combined and more fat than meat. in addition! the fat and meat were too salty and spoiled the flavor of our ham and peas soup.

Added great flavor to my green pepper soup but a bit in the expensive side.

These Ham Hocks were large and meaty thus the three stars BUT they were incredibly salty. So much so that we could not eat the beans they were prepared with! I need a little help here. If I were to soak the ham hocks in plain water to leech out some of the salt before adding them to the beans, would this work?

Received my items purchase fast safe delivery. Items value is worth the value for the money. Fat content, I belive it's medium. Quantity fully curded smoked excellent.

This barely qualifies as Country ham. It's very soft and wet, and I needed to add salt to my soup beans. When I buy ham hocks, I expect bone and cartilage, because I'm using it to flavor beans or greens. No bone at all in one of the packages. The flavor wasn't bad, it was just absent. I'll use it up, but won't order it again.

Very tender ready for the bean pot or boil it in water with salt to boil peanuts 🥜
