Love this product, all matte eyeshadows

This eyeshadow palette comes in a classy black box and I particularly like the magnetic lid. The box is too large to be carried in a standard sized handbag, but I found the eyeshadow lasts all day without creasing or smudging so I didn't need to lug it around with me. It's a shame there's no mirror in the lid, though. There is a great selection of warm brown tones in the box, which are matte not sparkling, giving a more sophisticated and natural look. The inclusion of a highlighter is useful. Some of the colours are a little dark for me but I have been able to play around with the various shades to achieve different effects. Only a tiny amount is required and the eyeshadows are a real joy to apply; as the name suggests, they have a soft velvety feel. I have also experimented with applying a little of the eyeshadow on a damp small brush under my lower lashes and it lasts incredibly well. Admittedly, this not a cheap product, but I'm happy to pay the higher price for such a quality product. I hadn't come across the Japonesque brand before but will certainly now look at the rest of their products.

This Japonesque palette box is nicely presented and offers 8 colours within a smart black box with a magnetized lid. There is no doubting the quality of the eye shadow- it is rich, intense in colour, feels good on the skin and only a modest amount is needed to achieve the desired result. The most important point to make is that it offers a very seasonal range of autumnal shades all of which are matte so if you are looking for very strong colours with glitzy shimmer then this is not for you. However, if you prefer a more natural look with subtle variations of brown, green or grey this is superb. The inclusion of a highlighter is perfect in this regard as you can give a more diffuse and complex character to your colour.This box is really too big to fit in a small to medium handbag and really belongs more on your dressing table. Given the premium nature of the product I was surprised to see no mirror was included again suggesting this is really intended for home use. Nonetheless, this remains a quality and subtle palette which offers many make up possibilities.

This eye shadow palette is beautifully presented in chic slim black box with an easy to close magnetic flap over lid. The shades are warm earthy tones mainly browns and terracotta shades with warm tints of rose and plum. There are eight colours all together, which all blend beautifully to create a natural warm look, perfect for Autumn/Winter or an all year round natural look. The colours are all matt, which makes a refreshing change from all the other eyeshadows available on the market today, as many seem to contain shimmer or glitter which is great for a night out, but can look a bit too much for work. This palette also contains a lovely highlighter in a nice light natural tone to set off the other shades and darker shades to accentuate the eyes for a more glamorous smoky eye look. A must have palette and perfect for this season.

This is a good selection of autumn colours which you can use to build up a wide range of effects. I am not an expert on this subject but the person I gave it to said the quality is very good.At first I was surprised that there is no mirror or applicator - you just get the palette in a cardboard box. Then I realised it doesn't matter. The palette is 7" long and fairly heavy so you won't be putting it in a handbag to use away from home. It's not really designed for touch ups but it will do a good job for when you want to look your best.The container itself is plain and inexpensive but looks smart enough. It seems to be made out of dense card but it snaps shut with a magnet so there must be some metal inside.

Perfetta è la recensione sintetica per questa palette di ombretti velluto. In particolare: i colori sono bellissimi, si sfumano perfettamente, sono molto pigmentati e, con uso attento si possono creare dai look naturali a quelli più azzardati e fashion. Hanno lunga durata. Davvero un'ottima combinazione!!!! Adesso spero che torni disponibile la Face Velvet touch Palette perché se la qualità è la stessa non vedo l'ora di provarla!La confezione è arrivata nei tempi indicati da Amazon e perfettamente intatta. Grazie!
