Vax CCMBPV1P1 Power Pet Vacuum Cleaner, 2.2 Litre, 800 W, Blue [Energy Class A]

Got this specifically for pet hair as per advertised. I started using it in August 2018. For the first month it was excellent. After that it started to go down hill and lose suction badly. This is definitely the worst hoover I've had. Fair enough you get what you pay for but I've had cheaper hoovers do better jobs. I feel totally ripped off. I have to clean the filter out just about every second day to get the smallest amount of suction and even then it barely picks up. The cylinder inside blocks up so easily! Anything bigger than the size of a five pence piece has to be picked up before you even start hoovering or you can guarantee you'll be pulling it to pieces after 5 minutes if you don't. Even a wad of pet hair is enough to block it, which is really irritating seeing as it's supposed to be a pro in this department. So if you enjoy picking up bits off your carpet and sweeping all your pet hair floors before you hoover then this is the one for you! My friend pops in with her dyson animal from time to time and it is fantastic! I now wish I'd kept saving for a better hoover.

The delivery was efficient as you’d expect from Amazon Prime but it’s apparent there are reasons some unit’s are over £300 and others are £54.I have quite thick pile carpet and this is far to sucky to push easily. Plus it feels quite plasticky.It did suck up well on the laminate floors and tiles but I’m not in love with it.

Worst vax Hoover ever. Compared to my last vax it's awful. So much suction to start you can hardly push it. Needs the filters cleaning every other use. Fiddly to take apart & clumbersome. Suction slowly disappears after a few months despite taking apart & cleaning. Regularly I miss my 2000watt old cleaner.

It's lightweight and very powerful, but so powerful that it's difficult to push along the carpet and the length of the pipe is short so i'm very crouched and I'm only 5ft 4" tall, so it's ok but not ideal.

Arrived promptly as planned, very powerful giving excellent suction. Just what we wanted. Only possible downside the hose seems to be a tad flimsy but no problems at the moment. Would recommend for hard floors not carpet.

If anything this unit has too much suction!Quite difficult to use on carpets as a result.

At first the hoovers suction was so powerful it was impossible to pull along a carpet. Then one day the entire suction disappeared and have tried emptying it out, cleaning all the filters and nothing seems to work! Such a shame. The lead is quite short. For £60 you would expect something a bit better
