ESV Spiral-Bound Journaling Bible, Five-Volume Set (Hardcover): Holy Bible, English Standard Version

I've had these about a week now and I am really enjoying them! I've never had a spiral-bound bible with room to take notes like this, so it's been awesome for diving deeper into the word. Worth every penny to me. I've seen unboxing videos online and can confirm these come in the same box they would if you ordered direct from the factory, and they are packaged really carefully with extra padding. I appreciate this because sometimes books from Amazon come loosely thrown in a box or bag and they end up dented or bent- no concern for that here. Lastly, due to previous reviews, I literally turned every page when I got them to check the quality. Maybe that seems over the top, but some reviews mentioned pages upside down, missing, or written on and I didn't want to risk finding something like that months later. It didn't take much time and it was worth it for the peace of mind, but I want to report there were NO issues with the book set I received. The 2 larger books, New Testament and Prophets, the pages stick a bit at the spiral so you need to carefully turn each one. Once you do this they are "unstuck" and it's smooth to turn pages thereafter. This is the best price you'll find online for this set! (I know it fluctuates; was $93 when I purchased.) I love the minimalist design where each book is a different earth tone... I don't usually write reviews here, but I had to start for this one! I'm really happy with my purchase!

These bibles are a great size and have plenty of room for notes both in the margins and space to underline or make small notes in the text. Love that it’s spiral bound so that it lays flat. So far I have not noticed any mistakes in the text. Two small things that I don’t love. First, the pages seem thinner than normal paper. It’s almost as thin as a typical Bible. I’m worried that they could tear from the spiral binding. Second, I wish that the words of Jesus were in red. All text is just black.

Such a beautiful, high quality Bible! Lots of space for writing notes about what you are reading. I use mine everyday in my personal Bible Study time.

After reading other comments that a few pages were missing, I went through every single page through all five notebooks and found no problem. I love the space for writing notations. I did not have an ESV version of the bible, this was a great way to get one. I do not have an issue with the papers thickness, as others mentioned, but at the same time I do not plan to use colored highlighters. If I did, this may have been an issue. Love this. I got it on sale, if it wasn't I would not have purchased. The price was what I could afford. I am blessed.

These are amazing and I get so many compliments and intrigue when I take these to church. Everybody wants them now. I love how there is so much room to write and the text size is perfect for my 56 year old eyes! To counter some of the negative reviews, be smart when choosing a writing tool. I use a ball point pen and have no problems (yes, if you use a marker it will bleed through like any other paper). Yes, the pages will bend (it’s paper after all) so just treat it with the respect it deserves. I honestly, don’t know how anyone could review this product with any hesitations. You won’t regret buying these!!

I love these bible books. I’m following the Bible in a Year program and these work wonderfully. It’s nice having room to take notes, the pages are heavy and don’t bleed through when using a highlighter. The pages have a larger print making it easy to read. I added tabs and when paired with the Rose Charts and Timeline book you have a complete study set. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing and much better than my expectations. The five volume series you receive in this set is enormous. It was packed very well and I’m really enjoying getting started on this. Just a quick note that obviously it’s not a study Bible so you should probably have a study Bible nearby as you start to read through this. There are a few modest footnotes. The journaling aspect is phenomenal. The font is very readable. My regular Bible is large print, but my eyes are not straining to read this. I plan to use this set to read all the way through the Bible in 2026. Great purchase and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again if I fill up this journal. My guess is I can read through this multiple times and journal through this multiple times because I’m not filling up each column with comments. What a great experience to be able to highlight, write notes, dig deeper. A+

I absolutely love these spiral-bound journaling Bibles. Having Scripture and plenty of room for my notes together in one place has made studying so much more convenient. Instead of trying to remember which notebook I wrote something in or digging through old notes to find a thought from a previous study, everything can stay right alongside the text I’m studying. I was initially hesitant because they are on the pricier side, but after receiving and using them, I understand the value much more. They’re beautiful books, thoughtfully put together, and I genuinely have no complaints about the quality. I was also extremely impressed with the packaging. Mine arrived on a rainy day, and I was worried the books might have gotten wet during delivery. They were completely untouched. Everything was packaged so carefully and presented beautifully, and I really appreciated the extra attention that clearly went into protecting them during shipping. Even opening the package felt like receiving something special rather than just another book order. The spiral binding is especially practical for journaling because the pages stay open while I’m reading and writing, and I love having enough space to keep my thoughts, observations, and study notes organized with the corresponding Scripture. They’ve made keeping my Bible study notes organized so much easier, and the quality and presentation exceeded my expectations. My only real wish is that they would offer these in more translations because I would absolutely love having the same format with additional translation options.

These are very nice, have lots of room to write notes, paper is thicker than bible paper so less pen/marker bleed through or shadowing. With the right hole punch could even add additional pages with notes. However not something you would carry around with you or take out to a group Bible study especially if you will be looking at other books of the Bible, but you could also take a compact Bible or use a mobile device to look up other chapter verses.

I was so excited to get these, but there are pages missing from the prophets book pages 341 - 356 aren’t there and I can’t return one book without getting a refund for the full collection and buying them again

I got 2 sets of these because they are great the quality my wife and I intend to study the Bible verse by verse putting in notes these are brilliant. These are quality spiral bound books lay flat easy to read space for notes and value for money would recommend this set to anyone interested in the bible
