I LOVE this! I've used a pour-over cone (Melitta) for decades, but they take a lot of room in the suitcase when you're trying to pack light. This little one folds up to almost nothing - I was really surprised how small the box was when it arrived. It has two layers of filter in the bottom, one screen-type for strength, and one ultra fine for perfect filtering. The speed of drip is just perfect. If pour over coffee is made too fast, the quality suffers. This was just fast enough. The flavor us unusually good - it easily competes with the finest European coffee shops. It can be used with a filter for easier cleaning (I use a regular 10 -12 cup filter, and just press it into place). Or, it can be used without a filter, and doesn't leave any grounds in the coffee. It is not too tall, which keeps one from pouring the water all at once; this might seem like a disadvantage, but it actually is the secret to making great-tasting pour-over coffee (in blind taste tests, pour over is the best tasting coffee!) It's also quite pretty. My only regret is that I didn't order a multipack - I'm quite tempted to buy these for everyone I know for Christmas! : )

Works well, quality is good and solid. The mesh is fine enough to not *need* a paper filter. No more instant coffee in the backcountry

This works amazing. I bought this for my husband and I for when we travel. There's nothing more disappointing than a weak ass cup of coffee. I love how I can use and quickly and easily clean this for on the go and pack up with no problem. It folds up and hardly takes any space. I'll probably buy a second one just in case so I can make 2 cups at a time.Highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. I've tried a lot of pour over devices for my hiking and finally found one that is nearly perfect! This device is simple, effective and not too heavy. I keep this in my backpack along with a small kettle with a spout and it makes magic coffee! Highly recommended.

For large cups only. Dripping speed is rather fast for fine ground coffee or coffee with a filler (like dry coffee mate or mushroom powder). Their particles dissolve fast and make coffee too lose.

Great little item. Has two screens that help create a perfect pour. They can be popped out and cleaned. I added it to my ammo box kitchen. 😉

Like that they fold down, fit extra wide rimmed cups, have an air escape hole and take just a little longer to filter through than my fine tea strainer that I was using for pour over coffee. They eliminate the plastic of KCups and allow for a stronger (and less bitter) brew. It’s easy to dump the grounds in the compost bin. The sink sprayer cleans out the filter well. It just takes a swipe of a cloth to eliminate the residue inside. I like that they collapse for storage.
