I’ve had this little guy for a few days and honestly I’m obsessed. For reference, I’m a full blown adult in her thirties, so if you’re an adult questioning your purchase don’t hesitate! I got the medium size. I have severe anxiety and depression. My therapist suggested getting a stuffed animal, especially because in January I lost my absolute soul dog who would accompany me to therapy. I do EMDR which needs a lot of grounding and my dog always helped with that.I tried a few other stuffed animals but it always felt like hugging a pillow. Sometimes that’s great but I wanted to feel like I was hugging something real. I looked into weighted stuffed animals and found this listing. When the stuffed animal arrived I was a little surprised by the flat box but he fluffed up quickly. I put one of my late dog’s sweaters on him to help soothe me. Holding him the first time I immediately felt the difference with the weight versus a regular stuffed animal. It’s nice to sit on your lap, has substance when cuddling, and the fur texture is so soft. I brought him to therapy (peep him buckled in, I just thought it would be funny) and my therapist loved it. It really helped in therapy with the weight and playing with his ears. I feel like a kid again having a stuffed animal I want to be with but that’s honestly the delight of it.This doesn’t feel like a cheap toy. The paws have cute little paw prints, all the limbs are weighted as well. The details are great. The cost was affordable. I think this is a great option for all ages. Absolutely get it!

I bought the brown dog for my mom who's in her 60s and going through a divorce and suffers PTSD. Her body temp runs warm so weighted blankets make her too hot, but this dog (I bought the largest size) is PERFECT! She actually cried when she received it and she has cuddled/slept with it every night. (She named it, too.) It was a pleasure to repay a kindness she showed me when she gifted me a stuffed animal while I was in the ICU for a month and couldn't hold my cat.This stuffed dog is soft, seems well-made, nice and heavy (the largest is probably too heavy for someone very elderly) and very comforting.

I love this stuffed animal a lot, and I sleep like a rock with it on top of me. However, a thing that I don't really enjoy about it is that the fluffy part of the outer fabric comes off and leaves fur everywhere like a living animal that sheds. It makes me uncomfortable knowing I might be breathing it in at night and that it's likely some kind of plastic fabric. I also had to hand mend a hole in the side of it that was there when it arrived. Other than that, it does what it's supposed to do: be fluffy and heavy.

Super soft, great weight. My 94 year old grandmother instantly took to this puppy and slept with it and pets in on her lap throughout the day. She says it feels just like a dog and she looked calmer petting it.We haven’t washed it yet.

So I'm giving this a 5 star rating because this dog is super cute and super cuddly and fits perfectly on my lap and the arm of my chair. Even now "Manfred" sits on my lap propping up my arms and phone adding a bonus to this perfect pup I hadn't thought about. I got him because I'm lonely and work long hours so I can't have a real pet and I miss having something to cuddle and hold. I ordered this and it came the same day exactly as advertised and I couldn't be happier. I'm giving this 5 stars for adorability (Is that a word? It is now) price and the speed of delivery. If anything changes like him falling apart in the future I will update this review but as it stands today I'm in love with my little buddy Manfred.

My grandson loves this because of it being weighted. He has a lot of anxiety and it was a great gift for him.
