To grill or not….
It seemed to be a great product, it was purchased by mistake but had gotten great reviews by my friends who have used this pan before….thats why I purchased it, but found out the person who it was to go to already had this…she loves it so much.

Adorable small pan
This is the cutest little pan. Some easy assembly is required for the handle. I've used this small pan for fried eggs and the heat distribution is great. Clean up is easy and although it claims to be dishwasher safe I prefer washing by hand. As further reading the description, this special pan is used for making a Japanese omelet named Tamagoyaki. I looked it up on how to make it and it's very easy and since then I have prepared my eggs several times this way.

Great for its INTENDED PURPOSE
It's kind of infuriating and insulting that there are so many reviews of this pan from fellow vine voices who have no idea what its intended purpose is. At least a cursory internet search for tamagoyaki might have clued them in.I love making tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelettes) and it actually pains me to see people complaining that you can't cook bacon in this pan and showing photos of overcooked fried eggs while complaining the pan is too small. The intent of this pan is that you put a thin layer of egg on the bottom, cook it, and roll it up. Then you keep adding more egg and continuing to roll it until you get a super fluffy layered omelette-like item. This pan has an intended purpose, and it's VERY well suited to it in both size and nonstick-ness.I have another tamagoyaki pan that's made of cast iron. It sometimes is less nonstick than I'd like, which causes me to have to over-grease it. I love having a nonstick one now because my tamagoyaki doesn't have to be swimming in oil to come loose from the pan.Great product at a great price. Please don't try to cook American breakfasts in it. That's just not what it's for.
