Justice League International Omnibus Vol. 3

The best of the best
What a fantastic Omnibus! This includes some of the breakdowns comics which were epic. This is the Justice League at it's funniest. It's definitely my favourite omnibus in my collection. Well worth the money and will be read again and again. Can't recommend it enough.

Beautiful Omnibus!
What an excellent collection this is! If you are a JLI fan, you won’t be disappointed. I hope we’ll be able to get Maguire’s wraparound cover as a poster sometime. 5 stars! (I wish I could give it 6!)

Completing JLI.
It mustve been the nostalgia thinking when i bought this, or it might just have been sentimentality but honestly, i want more JLI. Its just, i know the JLI of the 90s will never, ever return. One, because Keith Giffen isnt with us anymore. Two, the character of Maxwell Lord has been successfully assassinated as someone you can like. He is, plainly, evil. He has no more redeeming quality. Now i get why some hate Checkmate and what they did to Max. I loved him in JLI, and i felt that Breakdowns, as a swan song to the Trio of Giffen, DeMattheis and Maguire, was as good as it got. Its only a 4 star, because there isnt a 4.5 rating, and i truly cannot give it a 5 star because its bittersweet, but also, the subsequent SuperBuddies and JLA Classified stories left a somewhat lesser taste in my mouth when i was winding down the book. Overall, its still a must read for any JLI fan.
