Victorian Fashion (Shire Library)

This is a good overview about victorian fashion- there is always something new to learn, and this book closes some gaps. I think it is very fine especially for someone who starts sewing and wearing clothes of this period.

This book is the kind of book you would pick up in a museum gift shop. I found the price expensive for a book that contained little information. It was mostly information of dates and dull to read..

J'écris actuellement mon mémoire de master sur la condition des femmes Victoriennes à travers la mode de l'époque, et ce livre m'a tellement aidé. Je le recommande à tous ceux qui s'intéressent à la mode du 19ème siècle!
