I have yet to read a book but Max Lucado that did not surpass my expectations. Profound and very thought-provoking. If anyone has ever wanted to live a life like Jesus, this book will set your feet in Christ's footprints. I'm using this for a self-study but this would be an excellent weekly study for small group. Max has a gift of writing that goes beyond earthly comprehension. Don't buy just one... You will want to gift this book to friends or family -- bank on it!

Bible study to guide and teach about the heart of Jesus. We live our lives through times smooth sailing and hard times. Jesus is with us always but sometimes when things are tough, we forget to turn to Him first. The Bible has perfect guidelines and encouragement always available. It also reminds about the real nature of Jesus. Max Lucado is a caring and impacting author who presents information in an engaging style.

Max Lucado is a great teacher. This Bible study is insightful and uses numerous verses from the Old and New Testaments. It is very relative to the needs of Christians today. I look forward to the next unit.
