Awesome drill bits with small learning curve
The media could not be loaded. I originally bought these drill bits for a specific job and now I will be using them on EVERYTHING I encounter for home projects! We own a concrete block home and recently had to rebuild our front 3 season room. My first impression wasn't great, but after speaking with Bad Dogs customer service I quickly found my issue. THESE THINGS LOOOOOOVVVEE SPEED! After trying to use them with a regular drill (Dewalt and Milwaukee) and failing miserably is when I called to return them. I was informed I should use an impact driver or drill press at top speed instead. BINGO! I used them to hang the new gutters on the concrete. My boyfriend used them to install the flashing and then the Hardie Board, both into wood. They do have a small learning curve, but I urge you to actually read the instructions that come with them, unlike me. The payoff is worth it. And BONUS.....they replace the bits for life! Whaaaaaat?!?! They replaced the bits I burned up/broke/chipped in my first ill attempt at using them uneducated. AWESOME COMPANY!The video I posted is drill through Hardie Board, aluminum gutter material, trim board, stainless steel flashing, wood, and into my concrete step. They truly work well but you need the speed. Notice I'm using an impact in the video. Hammer drill wouldnt even make it through the Hardie Board or aluminum gutter.

Poor quality for the high price
I used the bits as directed and the tip came off of two of them. Granted they were the two smaller bits, the fact still remains that the hype and the price of these bits far outweigh the quality.

Best bit I’ve tried on concrete
I work in construction and go through bits very quickly. This set was worth the cost and held up against concrete and metal extremely well. They seem to work better than the regular concrete bits. I used them several times before having to sharpen.

Dad is happy with how they work in stone!
Recently bought this bit set as part of a Father's day gift. Dad has been talking about wanting to install hand rails for Mom at their front porch steps, but there is brick siding on the house in that area. He is a retired aviation and auto mechanic, he has a ton of tools but nothing really for masonry work. I searched for bits that could specifically handle brick / stone and found this set.Dad gave the bits a good test run the day I gave them to him, he was kind of like a kid at Disneyland LoL He drilled through thick brick and very large heavy rock, a wood 4x4, and a thick metal steel plate. PAY ATTENTION to the guide inside bit case! it tells you what different speeds must be used for various material types. It is too soon to really see how the durability / life of the bits are, so I deducted a star to be realistic since its too soon to tell. Dad did mention that after drilling through the stone a few times and then a steel plate a few times, the bit needed some sharpening (which thankfully he knows how to do).He keep going on about how great it was going through the stone tho, so that made me happy since it was the main reason I choose this set! Mom will be happy too if he ever gets around to actually installing the hand rail on the house siding...

Did not hold up to drilling more than 10 holes
Those drillbit edge started going bad before 10 holes even a little flattening of the edge. I bought these because it’s so hard to find a good carbide bit. I needed the drill over 120 holes at 5/16 and this bit just did not hold up drilling Cee Perling ,I happen to still have some carbide bits dried over 120 holes and it was still drilling. I was disappointed in the drillbits, mainly because it would be a pain in the neck. I have to keep sending it in to get a new one. under the warranty.

Versatile
First of all, I have found it’s important to follow the speed guidelines outlined in the drill index for best performance. These aren’t cheap HSS drills that are good enough at random speeds. Using a drill press with DRO, I have seen that their speed recommendations are imperative to performance. That said, these drills are the real deal. Both my wife and I tested these out with several drills and managed to punch through 1.5” masonry with the 3/8” bit in under 5 seconds. Overall, a great purchase.

Wait for a really good sale before you try them out. Too expensive and they failed.
I really hate to have to do this because I want this to be a good company. The items came quickly packaged fairly OK basically in plastic. Sadly, the product quality is lagging big time. I wanted to try an American company to replace the German Artu I usually use. I was using these high speed bits at high speed and my drill press to drill pin holes in the knives that I make. Halfway through the first knife pinhole, the drillbit completely failed. I had decided to give it one more chance and pulled out another, which failed immediately. When I reached out to the company, explaining my experience and what was happening, I got an education on how to use high speed drillbits. I explain to them through email, but I understand that they have their policy that they need to stick with, but that in my opinion, such a catastrophic failure, she come with a little bit of leniency. If Anne had just been willing to say no, we don’t do that and leave it at that. I probably would not be leaving this review. I was accused of just being confrontational, really not my style. I was then told that if I don’t like their drill bits, I should not have them and she insists that I send them back. Maybe I will maybe I won’t. I certainly can’t use them so I guess it’s back to Artu.
