Only displaces the rolls
My body has grown four babies in seven years. I remain athletic and still somewhat petite at 5’ 3” and 140lbs, dress size 8. I was asked to be in a wedding that happened six months after my fourth baby was born. I was feeling self-conscious of my postpartum lumpiness in the dress style the bride chose so I bought this shaper in a size S/M. It fit as I expected and did an okay job of smoothing out my midsection but the lumpiness was simply displaced to my thighs where the bottom hem of the “shorts” of this shaper hit, and up at the top band of the shaper just under the breasts and around the back of the ribcage. I have very fit, muscular thighs and this still gave a bit of a snowman look to my legs when I wasn’t standing with muscles flexed (i.e., sitting). Thankfully this was hidden by the flowy dress skirt, but these thigh lumps would show up on anything tighter. The biting up around my ribcage was noticeable under my dress. It looked like I was wearing a way-too-tight bra. I had to choose whether I wanted some lumpiness around my hips/pelvis (not wear it) or some lumpiness around my back (wear it). I chose to wear it under the gown and have the biting up my back with the reasoning that my front and sides would be more visible than my back. In the end this was okay except that the synthetic material of my dress created TONS of static with the synthetic material of the shaper so I spent the whole evening tugging at my dress to straighten it out against the static. By the end of the night my dress was a bound-up, clinging, wrinkly mess. I’m guessing this shaper would have been great with a dress of a different material and a dress that wasn’t as form-fitting, but let’s face it: we’re all buying this because we are going to be wearing something form-fitting so that’s a moot argument. While this didn’t really work well for me and probably wasn’t worth wearing, I did give it three stars because it was not uncomfortable.

Painfully tight on thighs, fit stomach fine
I had high hopes for this shape wear because of all the reviews. So to be fair I will start off with what I did like.I needed this to go under awedding dress that I was wearing. Despite how it looked upon taking it out of the package it had a lot of stretch. It fit my stomach, waist and butt perfect. Now for the not so good part. Honey it was super duper super tight on my thighs. My skin was falling out of it. The worst part is that the leg part rolled up literally allllll night long. Beyond annoying! I attended a traditional Italian wedding. So I fought with pulling down the thigh area for 6 1/2 hours smh! It would roll up so high that it started to pinch the inner parts of my thighs. The part just under the bikini area. Ouch! We couldn't find anything to cut the edges to give me relief, so I resorted to ignoring it for a little then countless trips to the restroom to pull it down...The stomach area didn't roll down at all so that was awesome. Also we ate about a 10 course meal with endless drinks and desserts. Seriously I was so stuffed I thought I would pop but my stomach was never ever uncomfortable from the shape wear... (Although maybe that's why I felt like I would pop lol) But I am being fair so i will not blame it on that.. I literally ate endless plate options of a 10 course meal. When everything was over I took this off and my husband threw it in the garbage for me. I had no intentions of wearing again. The leg part was very uncomfortable. If you have thick thighs like me just beware.. I am 5'11 and size 14. Gave it 3 stars because it did smooth out my stomach for the gown that I wore to a wedding. For just one night, I sucked up the pain.

The thigh compression is nice and tight without rolling up
For reference, I am 5'5", 150 lbs and usually wear a size 6 jeans. I have an hourglass shape: bust - 41, waist - 28, hip - 40. Here's the kicker... in the last 18 months, I have lost 30 lbs and I have some loose skin on my midsection and in my lower belly. I wanted these briefs to work as compression garments to hold the skin in place while I run and work out. I also hoped they could double as shapewear and compress my lower pooch into submission and contain the jiggle. The verdict is that these (for me and my shape) do a so so job. The compression in the lower belly (pooch) region is really not enough to hold anything in. The thigh compression is nice and tight without rolling up. The material was not hot or sticky or uncomfortable during my 5 mile run and the undergarment stayed in place the whole time. However, there was still a whole lot of jiggle going on. My outer clothes did not cling to the shapewear. The high waist is ok. I ordered a medium and although the waist does not roll down, it doesn't suck anything in either. As a smoothing out garment, it works ok. As a compression garment garment it doesn't work so well. It is not advertised as a compression garment, but i still hoped "shapewear" would compress a bit more. I could maybe have ordered a smaller size, which may have helped with tighter compression, but I doubt a smaller size would have accommodated my thighs. Other than the fit of the item, I had to deduct for the quality. After an hour run, the stitching on the inner mesh crotch panel had come apart. Even with running, it seems like it should have held longer than an hour.

Runs small
I feel that the product runs small. Even though it is suppose to be tight, you should not have to take 10-15 minutes to get it on

Be carful to size / great product
Exactly like the photo and great quality I am very happy about the product. I am 170cm and 65 kg but it is too small. I ordered two size and Large XL large is fitting good. Make sure to be generous with the sizing :/

They fit fine. They didn’t hold you in as advertised.
They fit fine. I found them week in the stomach area. Did not feel like they held you in that well.

Very good quality
I had a baby 3 months ago. Needed this for a wedding. Pre pregnancy dress size was 4 or sometimes 6. So now I bought s/m but it still feels somewhat large.
