Great for quest two and three

The media could not be loaded. This is an aluminum extension for the Quest two or three. The mild aluminum and rubber components, feel Well made. It’s relatively simple to transfer your controller into the extensions.I Played this with beat saber accumulatively for apx 10 hours With no real issues. As with most VR titles, you’re gonna want a wide open space, especially when you’re extending the controllers as you’re likely to hit more stuff this way. During gameplay, the controllers never felt loose; although, The quest three seemed to suffer some tracking issues when I use these while the quest two did not. Tracking issues noted with the quest three were consistent, suggesting that it was the extension causing the issue. That said, I don’t believe the tracking issues were enough to offset the benefit of having larger grip.I would definitely get these over the plastic alternatives.

Handle split

These things are great and I really enjoyed them but be sure not to store them long term while exposed to any sun or the foam grips will shrink and split rendering the foam grip useless. Though the heads 'can' loosen from play, they can be retightend very easily with a screwdriver and can be done better than factory tightness.

High quality construction and really fun for some games but limited use

I primarily got these to use with Beat Saber on an Oculus Quest 2, but I also tried them out with a couple of other games. They work really well with Beat Saber, it's a different experience to have something in your hand with some heft to it. These come with an additional piece for screwing them together end to end so if you adjust the settings you can play Darth Maul style. This is even more fun, but considerably more difficult. It took me quite a while to get over not wanting to hit myself with the imaginary blades of the saber.I also tried this with Supernatural, and here the weight of the handles didn't feel good to me. It's more of a workout, which is fine, but it feels like it puts extra strain on my wrist. Additionally, I was concerned that I might hit the floor. I didn't and wasn't close to doing so, but it made me feel nervous where Beat Saber didn't. You can play the boxing dual bladed style, but it's not possible to do the blocking move, only the different punches. Finally, I tried this with Ragnarock, which is a game where you're pounding drums with hammers. It's great with this game too. It makes it feel more realistic and fun.The manufacturing on the handles looked and felt very nice. All of the threads turn very smoothly and there were no sharp edges. I had no problem getting my controllers in, and they were quite secure. After playing more than an hour they hadn't moved at all. This is far better than another handle that I tried once. I normally use grip covers on my controllers and I did have to take those off which is a bit of a hassle. I have mixed feelings about the foam they used. It's very grippy which is good, and retains it's grippyness even when my hands got sweaty, but it feels cheap compared to the rest of the handle. I'd prefer if this were knurled aluminum like the part that holds the controller, even if that isn't as easy to hold. Other than the foam, the entire thing feels more expensive than the price, and it works very well so the foam is a minor quibble.

Stuck together on first attempt

Product is made of durable metal. Haven’t even been able to use them since I first screwed two sections together out of the box only to find I couldn’t unscrew them. The threads aren’t even screwed all the way. I’ve used all my strength to try to unscrew them only to have the grip rip apart. Wasted purchase.

I would use these for work out purposes only.

Ok,.so I have tried other extenders before an liked the reach they gave me and I felt like they were light enough that they didn't really negatively effect my movement but I always stopped using them because after a few songs of Beat Saber, I could feel the controller wobbling inside the extender. Even if I didn't feel like the controller would fly out, that wobbles was such an irritating distraction, I stopped using them. Then these came along.Ok so the good thing about these is the build quality seems brick solid beneath the black foam handle. The controllers are inserted by unscrewing a metal ring enough to slide the controller in place (orange rubberized material that is molded in the shape of the controller handle) and feed the wrist strap through the hole in the bottom. After that you just tighten the metal rings to lock the controllers in place eand your set. I mean the controllers do not budge and I love that about these handles. Look, let me make it clear that I am not an extensive VR game player. I play Beat Saber and that's it. Well I used to do Supernatural but it's been just Beat Saber for a while now so this opinion is based solely on an average player playing the one game on expert and Expert +.In any case as I was saying, these are solidly constructee under the foam handle and the controllers do not budge also, it is true, these are compatible with both styles of controllers. Now, after playing just one song. Taemin's Guilty on Expert +, what I can say is if you are just looking for a workout, these are fantastic. I mean I am feeling muscles in my arms I didn't know existed or maybe I should say, I knew that everyone has them but other people use theirs lol. I mean wow, the workout your arms get with these is amazing!! With that said, it does come at a price in scoring. I use claw grip to play Beat Saber, not even the standard grip and the destruction these caused to my score was, well it was something. I mean yes, this gave me so much amazing reach and my arms are gonna be sooo nice and toned one day, but there is just no way to be quick and nimble with these, I don't think.Look, I play the Oculus version of Beat Saber and I use *whisper mode activated* Beat Sage to generate maps so my game is basic. BASIC. I just really can't see anyone who is a serious player, and I do mean serious player of Beat Saber wanting to use these. It's like going from a small carving knife to a broad sword or battle axe. Plus as good a workout as these are for your arms, they are going to be a problem on your wrists if you try using these for those insane maps that I want no part of lol.So honestly, while these are fantastic and work brilliantly, I would treat these as a piece of VR workout equipment. Great for when you want to turn your game play into a legit exercise, but when you are going for an hours long stint and the scores are of the utmost importance, I'd put these aside for the next workout session. Well, unless you are an actual sword smith lol.
