LevengerCirca Discbound Customizable Notebook Starter Kit with Translucent Covers, Discs, Ruled Paper, Tab Dividers, Letter

Arrived today! I am VERY excited to try this as a new system for my lesson plans (middle school). I wanted something that could function as a spiral-bound, but would be flexible like a ring-binder. I think THIS IS IT! After tearing through all of the packaging (there's a lot of plastic), I put the system together. I have already rearranged the order of the things I want to place in the system about ten times, and it's fantastic. The amount of items in the kit - paper, plus dividers, ruler, and covers doesn't fill up the 3/4 inch disks in the kit. This is leaving the stack a little "floppy". There's enough room to add in more information, so I think this will work really well for what I would like to do.I am concerned that the cost of the Levenger brand items is more than I would like to pay. I think I will have to invest in the punch, or look into other disk-bound options to keep this system going.So far, I have used Flair pens with some shadowing through the paper that was included in the kit. The Bic Z4 rollerball pens that I have bleed through in some places. The poly covers and poly dividers in the kit seem to be good quality. The transparent cover will allow me to insert my own, colorful cover page, but if I was using this in a more professional, business setting instead of a middle school, I think I would want a cover that's either opaque, or more professional looking than the clear, poly cover. There are 5 dividers, labels for them, and a see-through metric/US standard ruler - very useful for tagging the place in a binder, or for separating out sections. So far, so good - this is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for to arrange my materials the way I would like.

As the adage goes: New Year... new you.... so I like the idea of having a planner organizer. I have walked around with a spiral bound calendar for years that I update but thought, with all the options for fillers out there ... why not try and find something that wasn't a huge investment and jump slowly into the rabbit hole.What I really like about the starter set is that it's really truly a blank canvas. Which was exactly what I needed.I also really like the idea that the pages are insertable and removable.I did buy the inexpensive single page punch so that I can update and print color pages or my own designed insert.The supplied rings hold probably I am guessing about 25 - 50 pages total which I think is the perfect amount for a weekly planning book for my needs. I think any more and I would get overwhelmed so this harnesses and controls my paper simply and elegantly.Levenger is a well respected brand so I had no hesitation.

I love this notebook system. Very versatile. I'm a freelancer who need to adapt note taking and organizational style on a per project basis, and this allows me to do that without purchases an entire new notebook each time. It also allows me to keep multiple smaller projects divided within one notebook, which is quite handy.

I love this product and all my Levenger notebooks and supplies. Great quality and value. These notebooks are a great way to get organized and project a professional and organized image to your clients. I have customized my notebooks with family pictures just inside the covers, and I get compliments on them every day! These are compatible with other store brand disc bound systems if you need to buy paper in a pinch. There is no substitute for Levenger quality and performance. I have bought these for myself and my family. They have also become my go-to gift idea. There isn't a high school or college student or graduate out there that couldn't benefit from this system.

I love many ARC, CIRCA, & Happy Planner products. :DI bought this kit to start a separate planning notebook for projects. I needed more than just my usual planner space...something I could dedicate to keeping track of specific and larger project tasks. I can admit that I love paper products & organizing them. Customizing whatever I need with a binder disc system has become my favorite way to do so. So, whether you want to try a disc system for the first time, want to make a custom planner, or just would like some extra products - this kit is useful!

At first, I really liked the whole kit and concept of the circa, but realistically, it is not a durable item. If you place your notebooks in a bag or move pages around too much--it probably won't hold up for you. Mine has not yet failed me, but I have to be very very careful to make sure it remains this way. The kit, however, was an excellent value and great way to try the system to see if you like it!

I just love being abe to spend time with this system in an economical way before taking the leap. I thought this might be a great solution for me but wasnt down with dumping hundreds into it without being sure. Im sure now! this is great stuff!i highly recommend trying out this little kit for yourself. It wonderful.

This is a perfect way too find out if you like this style of binding without investing a fortune up front. It has everything you need to start with and the quality is much better than I had expected for the price. I discovered I like the clear cover better than I would have liked a solid one too. I also purchased the portable hole punch so I was good to go. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others.

Material of good quality but very small quantity and variety. Difficult to tell if this is a system I want to adopt.
