Best comp[romise in Halogen bulb
These were recommended to me for the high beams (inner lights) for my E46 M3. The color isn't quite the same as the HID main headlights, but it's a lot less yellow than the stock bulbs. They're brighter too (but my comparison is older bulbs - I have no idea when/if they were changed). I can't say anything about bulb life - we'll see how they do.

As advertised
They are as white as advertised and compliment the custom headlights I brought for my 2015 Colorado.

Great replacement on my 2018 Super Tenere ES motorcycle
I purchased a pair of PIAA LED 6000K driving lights to add to my motorcycle, which have a pure white look to them. I wanted to match the color of my headlights to them. Regular halogen bulbs tend to have a dull yellowish tint to them. I didn't want to replace the headlights with LED's because then I had to find a place for the stupid box that is the regulator for LED lights. These mimic an LED pure whte bulb without all the needed boxes and wiring of a LED setup.
