As a middle aged person with limited flat pack assembly skills, this house took me about about an hour and a half to put together on my own so it can be done by one person. However, if you have two people it will be a lot quicker! Either way, it was absolutely worth doing! It is a wonderful house, sturdy and completely rain proof. You can open the side of the house too so it is also very easy to clean.I put a layer of thick polythene bought from Amazon on the base of the house (QVS Shop 2M X 1M Extra Thick Clear Heavy Duty Polythene Sheeting 250Mu / 1000G) and a layer of cardboard on top.I then put 'Genuine PnH Veterinary Bedding ® - Rectangle 100cm x 76cm - Grey' on top, followed by 'Bravpet Pet Dog Bed Blanket Mat Waterproof for Dog Cat (XXL)'. This is a great mat as it's soft and comfy and washes well in the machine. I bought both of these items from Amazon too. This was perfect but I added a couple of towels on top of it so that I wouldn't have to wash the mat too often.What I now have is a wonderful comfy warm waterproof garden house for my cat. He loves sitting or sleeping inside and if it rains he loves to watch the rain from inside and he stays completely dry. This is without doubt my best purchase of the year! I would definitely buy it again!

Great shelter. We brought it for our Maine Coon cat to hide in if we forget to let her in when it rains and it matches our plastic shed nicely. She hasn’t used it much yet, but it hasn’t rained since it arrived.Well built, but we couldn’t get the screws in that were provided - it felt impossible, but holds together fine without them.The base leaves a little to be desired in terms of comfort, as it isn’t very solid and has a pattern on it so it’s uneven, although mostly fixed with a blanket.Has holes in the arch of the door opening that suggest it should fit a flap, but none listed on Amazon or the sellers own site.

Bit smaller than I was hoping for size XL. Good and sturdy and relatively straight forward to put together

I was sick of battling against red mite in my old wooden coop but the plastic chicken houses were so expensive I couldn't really justify the amount. Then I saw this which is a third of the price (though still quite dear for what it is I think) so I thought I'd take the chance. Well it seems to be a success. I've put a divider inside so that they can have half of it as a nesting box and it's very easy to unlatch the end wall to remove the eggs or have a bit of a clean out. All they are lacking is roost bars but as they can go in and out as they please and they have a perch in the run if they want it I don't think it will be a big problem. As you can see it's in a secure walk-in run, so it doesn't matter that they can't be shut in away from foxes. otherwise it obviously wouldn't be a safe option. Another good thing is that I don't have to worry about letting them out in the morning, so yay for a weekend lie in, and it will be so much easier if I go on holiday to get someone else to look after them as they will only have to visit once a day. One thing I must say is DO NOT order the plastic door curtain that is shown on the 'buy these two items together' button (can't remember the make) as it does not fit at all and I had to return mine. Buy the Ferplast one which fits perfectly.

It took my 10 year old son and myself all of about 30 minutes to put together! Ample size for a 5 month Husky with plenty of room to spare! With no need for hammers or screws, it is a really sturdy kennel! Not fitted a flap yet but don’t agree with that as an added extra for the price.

Easy to put together bought for my three chickens loads of space inside for them to sleep a door can be bought as well. Easy to clean side panel comes done for collecting eggs mi d sleep at the right side away from door. Very waterproof as well left to air for a few days to get rid of the plastic smell. Good quality

Perfect size for 2 giant rabbits 😀think I’ll buy the plastic door flaps to keep it warmer in the winter but they’ll probably chew it 😂
