Spear & Jackson 3881NB Neverbend Carbon Deluxe (Flexo) Lawn Rake

The rake itself is great; robust and very adaptable for a range of raking jobs especially awkward borders. My one reservation is the packaging it arrived in - It’s hard to see how this excess can be justified.

This leaf rake is absolutely superb. Due to its ability to adust to a thinner rake I can now rake up all the leaves in between my raised beds. Plus it has rounded prongs so it doesn't rip up the grass like my spring tine rake does, and the leaves don't get impaled on the tines so you are not forever trying to remove the leaves stuck on the rake. The quality is superb - the handle is aluminium and the tines are all steel - but it also has a 15 year guarantee ! It's the best garden thing I have bought recently.

Ideal rake as you can adjust the head down to enable you to get into those awkward places in the garden. It is light and easy to adjust the head for size, the prongs are not heavy duty and do flex if you try to rake something out of the grass but then this was not designed for heavy duty use. A good product and ideal for removing leaves or other loose items from lawns or patio's.

So far this rake has proved to be very good. It feels solid and does the job well. Time will tell how durable it is but so far so good.

I am a professional gardener. This is the best plastic rake I have ever used. The plastic is soft and it will not last a long time, but in part this is because it gets used all the time as it is excellent at raking up, does not rip out loose grass from lawns, is comfortable to use for hours, and the balance of pliability with tine shape is near perfect. Soft plastic has another advantage: in cold weather it does not become brittle and snap like other rakes have in the past. Over four or more years I have had no breakages/snapped times and if they become bent in the van they 'unbend' over time. Do not believe those who claim they are flimsy, it is just not true; they are flexible. I have now got through six or more of these. Every time I buy one it becomes more expensive and that annoys, but they are the only plastic rake I would have in the van. Highly recommended.

Excellent for taking around plants in borders, being able to adjust the width is a great aid. Feels really sturdy and is well built. I've given this loads of use daily and am very pleased with it.

The Spear and Jackson neverbend adjustable garden rake is a lightweight but tough garden rake, the tines are strong and don't bend or flex too easily, the width of the rake is easy to adjust with a cam action sliding locking handle.The length of handle is good and strong made of aluminium whereas the tines are steel.

The media could not be loaded.  Riesen Karton, Stiel musste ja mit reinpassen, und ein tolles, stabiles Teil mit Metall Zinken darin, verstellbar und viel besser als die Plastik Zinken, die oft angeboten werden, und die bei jeder Gelegenheit brechen. Der Stiel lang genug auch für große Leute. Top

The rake is good for tight places but being charged $34 shipping and handling for a $24 rake is crazy. This was standard shipping and took three weeks to arrive. So much for the great Prime Day deal!
