Works great lasts longer then the cheapest valves available and SUPER EASY to replace when needed.
These are the best because they are by far the easiest to change when needed. They also offer a fast quiet fill and I have found them to last longer then the cheapest float type toilet fill valves which would be good enough but the best part no one seems to mention. When you install this type for the first time it is like any other valve, except perhaps it is easier to handle and adjust once installed. You know the routine, shut water, valve flush toilet, hold open flapper, sop up remaining fluid in tank. remove water line from valve, remove valve, get wet from water remaining in tank. Reverse for install connect the new hose and fill clip to the overflow. Adjust the fill level and dry the floor, change shirt. They seem to last me about 2-3 years. Here is the best part. When they start to go they will gradually not shut off completely, typical problem for a toilet valve. This causes the toilet to "run" . You can tell it is the valve and not the flapper causing the running since the water level is at the top of the overfill pipe. Now here is how to replace it the second time:Shut off the water valve. Flush toilet, hold open flapper to drain as much as will drain. Take the new valve of this same design. The top is held on by 3 stainless screws. remove screws, remove plastic top by lifting from the front. It will have the working components inside. Do the same for the old valve, WHILE IT IS STILL INSTALLED IN TOILET TANK. Now install the new top on the old bottom by hooking the rear in first and installing and snugging down the 3 screws.. INSTALL, the included, NEW HOSE & CLIP to toilet valve & overflow tube or you will get wet and or cause a leak. Turn on water valve. Adjust the water lever by turning the finger adjusting screw. Notice you did not need to remove the valve body from the tank. No need to lay on the floor under the toilet, no need to sop out the tank, Just remove and replace three screws. As quick and easy as can be. NOTE there are basically two models of this on the market. One has 3 screws holding the top on and the other has 2. I do not know if the tops are interchangeable between the 3 screw and the 2 screw models.Jay

Nice valve
Very easy to install, just need to install the water out of the tank, unscrew the valve & replace it with this one, nice valve replacement, you can also regulate how much water you want to use, great valve, easy install.

LASCO 04-4104 Fill Valve
I like these things! Inexpensive and handy to keep on hand in case one goes bad (inevitable). They won't last a lifetime, but they're easy to change out. And they do seem to work good!

Nice little item...
I really like this Toilet Valve because it is very small in size and certainly can get the job done correctly, ...and you won't need any extra parts (that someday could fail or brake) as ordinary toilet valves do in order to make it work...As I said before 'I really like it'...

China junk
Have been using these in my automatic horse stall waterers for 20 years. We added a water pressure regulator and they usually lasted for 3-5 years minimum before needing to be replaced. Now they are all made in China and are absolute junk. I bought 5 of these and only one operates without seeping & eventually overflowing, regardless of how it’s adjusted. One of them never would shut off at all.

The only kind of toilet filler to purchase
I replace about 10 fillers per year. The float fillers (hidden float or not) are horrible. No guarantee is going to make me happy to replace the same filler every other year. I used to special order these from Ace, but now they doNot sell them at all. They work to well to be in stores. These fillers have a manner about them. The warm water of summer fills 3/4 of an inch higher than the cold water of winter. They fill so fast (a wonderful feature) that you must be careful during initial turn on or throw water out of the empty tank. The fillers which came from Ace would fill another 1/2 inch into the bowl after shut off before completely shutting off. These seem to have a solid shut off. Either way, after shut off listen carefully because if it is still running, it will fully shut off in about 15 minutes. No problem. After putting your hand in the water to adjust the hight, be sure to test again.I have a lot of experience with fillers like these. They work on day one and keep working, or they doNot work on day one which is ok by me because I can replace it right then. I love these kind of fillers because are fast, they work, and they keep working.I have searched long and hard for these fillers. This is now my new source for fillers. I will keep using these fillers and if I discover problems then I will modify this review. Buy three. These fillers are so great that if you did get one that didNot work, it is worth throwing away. I have yet to get a bad filler from this company, but if I discover a percentage of bad fillers, I will also let you know about that.

Old design from the 80's easy to install
Fast ship on a hard to find item. Didn't think this valve was available anymore. But before taking off work I gave a quick look and to my surprise here's this old design part right next to traditional ball valve parts. The 1st one I bought came with a lifetime warranty. And when it died. I tried calling the number but they had gone out of business. Found the same design at the big box stores but with a different company name. They didn't warranty it. But it's such a simple design and the 1st one lasted a long time, I bought another one. Well I can only guess but I'd say the patent has expired and the design is up for grabs. This package say it comes with a 7 year guarantee. And so in 7 and 1/2 years. Ill be glad to buy another one. I think it's the clean design and simple install that impresses me. And I was very happy to spend an extra $2.99 for same-day delivery. Got home from work, removed the old valve and wasn't even done putting the tools away when it showed up at the door. Saved an hour driving to the big box stores and home again. Thanks Jeff B
