adidas womens Cushioned Retro Crew Socks (3-pair)

these are quite small/tight, around the ankle, not just the womens, but the mens as well, I bought the same style for my husband, whom has much thinner ankles than I, and he said the same thing, they are far too small/tight around the ankle. I have a pair of these same ones in ankle socks, and LOVE them! I wanted to get the same to wear at work in my boots. but neither I, nor my husband can wear these. they are too tight. the rest of the sock is fantastic, wonderful if you have super skinny ankles

The main problem with these socks is not quality: they are just as advertised and even have a bit of compression in the arch as a benefit The problem is the price: the retail price, written on each pack, is $14. Don't we buy things at Amazon, in part, to get a better price than at the store?

Seemed pretty average in quality but every time I slid a foot into one of these socks, toes caught on loose threads. Every time. Nuisance. Not enough to return them but I am going with other socks for running and using one of these each time to tuck under my sports bra band for extra absorption. These socks are pretty comfortable, have nice cushioning, and are not too tight around the ankle. I gave them a 4 out of 5 because I did notice that after the first wash they already started to have loose threads (despite being washed gently). It has been a year, though and they are still ok. Despite the few loose threads, these socks have held up pretty well. I recommend these socks.

Great socks! Soft, perfect length and wash extremely well. Great for men and women.

Adidas cushioned women's cotton socks are my favorite, as they hold their shape and are cushioned just right to provide me with a comfortable non-chaffing fit. They stay up well and hold their shape with repeated washing. They arrived on time and I am pleased with my purchase and will buy more of these.

Pretty disappointed in these name-brand socks. They became badly stretched out pretty quickly and look pretty worn out. The tops are so wide now that they'll hardly stay up. They've last about 9 months, which isn't bad, I guess. I like my Carhartt socks better.

No where in the description did I see this say they were compression socks, but when the package arrived, it said it on the box. The foot part feels nice, with the arch support, but the ankle up is unbearably tight. I won’t be able to wear these.

I didn't realize how much compression these socks would provide and they are uncomfortably tight on me. I wear a women's size 9 shoe.
