Lassen Volcanic Np Hiking Map

This map helped me and my family immensely to get one place to another by car inside Lassen Volcanic NP. After reaching the NP, we found that my Garmin GPS could not show some of the points we were heading to. It is good to have a real map. Highly recommended.

I have a couple of books and maps of Lassen NP. This is definitely my go-to map for the area. Living so close to the park, I wanted a map to cover years of exploration. This is a great map, thick, waterproof and tear proof, yet easily packable. One side contains the legend and elevation profiles, while the other side is about 3/4 map and then some campground and history information.Already several day hikes and a couple of backpacking trips have seen this map tossed around, wet, stuffed into packs, spilled on, eaten on, and more! The map of Lassen was extremely useful. It gave a good overview of the park. It was large and easy to read. No congestion. It also was fairly easy to figure out elevation differences. Used it for a week, hope to use it again. It was a good deal for the price!

Bought this right before a camping trip, and it's the perfect size and detail for a weekend trip. A lot more cost effective and useful than a book, still with excellent information!
