This scale is so nice looking, and works great! The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that mine arrived with a deep scratch on the display. Nonetheless, this is a true little performer. Small enough to not take a ton of room, but big enough to do the job with great aplomb.This scale has a 5kg capacity (11 lb) over load indicator. You can switch between metric or imperial units, so whether you prefer ounces or grams, it has you covered. As you can see on my picture the readout provides very granular results. The device itself is very well-made. It feels sturdy. The underside is steel with a cover of hard plastic. It came with 4 hard rubber feet that lift the scale from surface around 2 millimeters which provides a non-skid grip AND prevents damage in the event of a spill. The base also has a keyhole type hanger opening if you would like to hang this on the wall in your pantry when not in use. This is a must-have item around any kitchen and will prove exceptionally useful for you if you're on any sort of special diet where you need to weigh portions or ingredients.

Keeping in mind that, I am 65 years old, While wearing my glasses, I still need a kit magnifying glass to read whether it is measuring grams, water, milk, or ounces and pounds. Other than that, it is easy to use and is very slender or low in height.

This scale ions good for measuring out foods and whatnot but if you are looking for 100% accuracy I give it a 4 out of 5 as I have been trying my hand at making bread here lately and with that I will need a certain amount of each product. I will measure it out and it will show the correct weight and then I get the next product to add and it will change either up or down. I know this is no lab, but I would like to see a better constancy with it. I had been using it over my coffee scale as it has a larger surface area to hold a mixing bowl. I will use the coffee scale when I want a good true accurate measurement/ However the glass top is nice as it is super easy to clean and to store it, fits perfect in the cabinet and out of the way. Over all I give it a 5 of 5 for usability but know it is not 100% accurate and you might fiddle with your measurements longer than you might like.

You can get some precise ingredient measuring done for your baking and cooking. It comes with a battery and is ready to use right out of the box.
