When you're doing video work, having a script is important but trying to read that script while engaging with the audience via camera can be difficult if you're using a mobile phone, notes, or similar.That's where a decent teleprompter with a remote comes in, you can set this up at or near eye level with the camera and you can keep the eye-contact and focus while staying on point with your content. The app for Android is not available on the Play Store which is kind of icky whereas the Apple iOS version is available through the App Store.

The actual hardware sets up easily and is sturdily made. The problem is with the software. If you have an Apple product, your app store will have it. If you have an Android, you have to go directly to a website to get it, and the app doesn't meet security standards for the operating system. Your phone will reject the download and you won't be able to use the teleprompter without some other third-party option.
