Q: How opaque are these? I would like them to cover dates in a planner, and I want them opaque enough that the original dates don't show.

My answer is that it will cover about 85%....you will see a little bit of the original inked dates through the stickers.

Q: Do I need to use these tags at low temperatures and make sure they don't peel off the tubes? what temperature range you recommend? thanks.

The service temperature range for our labels is -65 F to 160 F.

Q: Will light shine through if i use them to cover an led lit button?

I don't know as I've never tried that. Sorry
