Whisk for Mixer
This whisk is perfect fit for my stand mixer. I use the mixer at least once per week, and now I have 2 whisks that I can interchange without having to wash between batches of what ever I am making.

Perfect for Whipping on the KitchenAid Mixer
I don't claim to know much about this KitchenAid mixer. I just buy random attachments and then try to use them when it seems like they might be appropriate. For this one though, my step daughter came over and was cooking. She used this and said it was awesome. Much better tool than whatever she's used in the kitchen in the past, I guess. Cool. Someone is getting some use out of that expensive mixer that I mostly regret buying. This wire whisk works really well. Great value too.

Great replacement!
I had put my OEM Kitchenaid whisk thru the dishwasher with the predictable result of greying the aluminum hub. While this hasn't impacted the performance, it does leave a residue on my hands when I put it on my mixer and I worry that some of the powder will end up in my food. This fits my 6qt lift bowl perfectly with no adjustments needed from the OEM settings. Clean up is a breeze as I just toss this in the dishwasher with the bowls and walk away. I happened to have a lead testing kit on hand and used it on the solder points on the hub as well as the wires. It didn't indicate the presence of any lead, which is always a bit of a concern for me with offbrand equipment.

Works as expected!
I got this to go with my husband's Kitchen aid and it fits into the grooves perfectly. Holds up really well with all the baking he does and it's easy to clean after use. You can also use it in the dishwasher without problems.

Good quality part for Kitchenaid mixer
This whisk attachment seems to be great quality, very sturdy and well made. I ordered this for my KitchenAid Architect 6 quart mixer and it just seems small for the bowl. I could have sworn that for my old 5 quart bowl the whisk attachment hit the sides of the bowl but there is at least an inch clearance and seems like it doesn't whip like it used to. It is getting the job done, but I wondered about the size and if it were larger if it would be more efficient. Anyway, it is good quality as expected from KitchenAid.

Fits very well
This 6-wire whip attachment fit my KitchenAide 5QT bowl lift model perfectly. Worked very well for a variety of items whipped during this holiday season. It was a bit slower in producing the same results than our 11-wire used on our recently retired mixer, however not dramatically slower. Just something we noticed and thought I would mention. The 6-wire whip is well put together, although the steel is a bit rough up at the attachment end. Unlike the original kitchen aide highly fit and finish products. However, this whip comes in at a lower price to accomplish the same results. I would recommend this to anyone looking to replace or add to their attachment collection.

Nice replacement for the original
I accidentally wasn't paying attention to the size when I ordered it. It's for a 6 quart bowl and mine is actually a 5. It's a little large for my bowl, but it mostly works in my larger bowl, but I think if you had the right sized bowl it would work really well. It's my fault for not reading more closely. Its nice having a second one as there are times I'm whipping cream in one bowl and egg whites in another so I like not having to use the same which and worry about cream in my egg whites.
