For most, these lights will work just fine. They will not work for some because of the depth of the housing. Some are aware of the fairly large storage space in the area behind the tail lights. Some use it as a secret storage compartment to hide extra keys or other such gear. Others, like me, use it as an electrical distribution center on one side, a place for an onboard water pump and filter connected to a fresh water tank. So, for me, that space is filled and I cannot accommodate the extra depth these units require.

Got these for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. They were super easy to install (plug and play!) and work like a champ. Better visibility and brighter than the old ones. VERY happy with this especially since I do not want to get rear-ended by someone who claims they didn't see me. They gonna see me now!
