No words in the manual, just illustrations and it was hard for this novice to put it together. To be fair, it's not much more than removing packing and fitting wheels (as some of the pieces are for the option of carseat fitting). However, I struggled to open the buggy following the picture which showed I should pull on both handles as I pressed down with one foot, requiring me to balance on one leg. With trial and error, I managed to get it open by sitting on the settee and doing all this horizontally rather than vertically. The wheels went on easily. All in all, a physical experience.
