Nice Globe
Nice Globe, ordered as it matches our colour scheme but a bit over priced.

Ok
Could be larger with a bit more detail. Seems well made.

Very poor accuracy
I'm no geek but just a cursory look at this globe shows how poor it is. If it were a globe of the world then Paris would be next to Singapore! This is of no use to anyone using it to look at the stars, indeed many of them have just been made up. Wouldn't have cost much more to have made it accurate and interesting.

i wanted a beautiful statement piece to my stargazing shelf in my living room. i set it on an acrylic riser with a few blacklights underneath and it is stunning. i didn't want one that looked like a toy. this does not. it is used to create an atmosphere of beauty and excitement about the stars and it met the need for that.

There's nowhere to put in batteries or anything; it looks like the same item I saw at Kinokuniya and is conspicuously lacking USB, battery, or any other way to power it.. It is, however, a nice piece and so my review of 4 stars is more related to the description inaccuracy than the object itself, which is fine and attractive.

I was very excited to get this globe to use as a final touch on my new home. It looks nice from afar however I am disappointed that the graphic has bubbled in a few areas and the globe is made of a light plastic material. It was a gift for Christmas but I did not open until I moved to my new place. Now I am disappointed because it I past the return date.

It is actually a very nice globe, but there are two issues: 1. There is no USB plug on the base of the globe. There is no internal LED light. There is no wiring at all. It is simply a nice globe. If it were at a cheaper price and not labeled at "illuminated", "USB", or "LED", it would get 5 stars AS A DECORATIVE OBJECT. 2. As long as it's up on a bookshelf as decor, where no one can see it, it's fine. As a learning tool, it's awful. Constellations are inaccurate, in both the asterisms and their layouts. Star positions are off, sometimes greatly. The Milky Way's position among the constellations is wrong. I wanted to use this as an outreach tool. That's not going to happen.
