Silentnight Pure Cotton Duvet, 13.5 Tog, White, King

Not 100% cotton cover. We ordered a cotton cover duvet. The packaging said the cover was 100%. Opening it up and reading the label on the duvet - it said the cover was 20 % cotton 80% polyester.

After three months it seems to be holding up pretty well. Nice and warm but not too heavy.My only complaint is the pricing. £39.99 felt a little pricey. And what's worse is they claimed it was marked down from £77.39. Well, three months later and it is still £39.99 marked down from £77.39. A quick search shows that £40 is it's regular price and the most expensive I was able to find elsewhere was £49.99. Lately these discount claims on Amazon are starting to border on fraud.

First of all I checked all seems for any splits as it seems that a common reaccurance in reviews of silent night duvets. Seems to be fine overall but I’ll have to keep an Eye as with loose threads at the corners im slightly weary of it coming undone.Was looking for a double duvet to replace my single. Unfortunately John Lewis no longer sell the same type as I would’ve loved an exact replacement of my single. I bought this on the basis of the same material, inside and out, expecting it to feel soft and cottony like my single. The exterior lining (although stated to be 100% cotton) feels slightly plasticy. I completely understand what is meant by reviews saying it’s rather ‘noisy’ now. May just need some time to settle in/May have to give it a wash to soften up.

I wish I'd have paid more attention to the reviews (hence my reason for writing this!),. Yes this duvet is lovely and light, and so perfect for night-time temperatures above double figures, but WOW it's noisy!!It's like trying to sleep whilst wrapped in a crisp packet! (Not that I've actually done this).I would have certainly returned this if I'd have not purchased it a few months ago and disposed of the packaging. I suppose the local animal sanctuary will be please with it!

Duvet looked good when I unpacked it, however on closer inspected there were large parts of the duvet without any filling. I thought I could remedy this by shaking the duvet at both end and sides in the hope the filling would spread evenly. This did not work. Sending it back for a refund and I have ordered a different make of duvet.

Returned item as although cotton covered as advertised, it crackled when moved, too noisy.

I have not taken the duvet out of the package yet or used it yet, but I just know that it will be so fantastic as the cotton cover feels so soft and an excellent quality.if I do have any problems when I inspect the quilt I will contact.The order has been recd so please update your records, thank you

Very happy with this duvet - we get quite warm at night so this 4.5 tog duvet is perfect for our needs. It is lightweight, cool and comfortable. It works for us even in winter, but for many would only be suitable for the warmer months.
