Partially stainless steel. Not even close to the claimed Construction: stainless steel.
The only part of this item that is stainless steel is the top and bottom plates. The rest of this item including the scissor and even the screws through the plate are all galvanized steel parts. If you want this item for use that requires corrosion resistance keep shopping. Other than that it is solid and sturdy. The feet are nonstop and it works well. I added some grease to the lift screw and it really smoothed out the operation.
