I like that I’m able to charge batteries out of my camera now. As lame as this may sound I wish they included a USB to wall adapter. I get it everyone has them for everything, but oddly I only have a few, and they are for specific things. I don’t like swapping usb cables around, but rather have my chargers all tucked in places I use them. . Another thing I didn’t care for is considering the charger can use Micro USB, or USB C why doesn’t it come with the better USB C. . In terms of the batteries they definitely don’t last like the others I have. I’d say they have about half the power. . I did like that the batteries came with little plastic cases to keep them safely stored. . All in all it was worth what I paid, and does what I wanted. Will update as time goes on, but for now overall it’s 5/5 stars, and 3/5 nitpick wise.

I purchased the NP-BX1 Newmowa Replacement Battery for my Sony ZV1, and I must say I'm highly impressed. These batteries work flawlessly, and surprisingly, they outlast the original batteries that came with the camera. I've noticed an extended battery life, allowing me to capture more shots or record for longer durations without worrying about running out of power. The compatibility and performance of these batteries have exceeded my expectations, making them an excellent investment for any Sony ZV1 user seeking reliable and long-lasting power sources.

Got 2 other chargers (powerextra and first power) before landing on this one as of fall 2024. I think that this one is my favorite out of the 3. This one was more expensive than the other ones. Like $5 more if there’s a sale or $2 if regular prices. This charger is half if not less than the size of the other charger blocks which is nice when traveling. The other ones felt light for the size. The charging red-green indicator is more consistent than the other ones. Haven’t had issues with batteries or charging so far. Downside is that you get a micro usb cable. And the packaging for the batteries have more plastic and seem a bit more wasteful.

Because I review photos in-camera and because I take them on the X-Fine setting, my Sony RX100 VII goes through batteries quickly. I needed a charger that would charge multiple batteries and the Newmowa was perfect for that. The three NP-BX1 batteries were an unneeded extra, but will make good stop-gap batteries - more later. The charger is very light in weight; it feels cheap, so I am hoping its longevity is not dictated by its mass. The battery slots hold not only the Newmowa batteries, but also Sony and Wasabi NP-BX1 batteries easily. There are no directions, but the batteries should be inserted with the white arrow pointing to the right. The indicator lights are red while the batteries are charging and are supposed to turn green when charged. I found that you do need to push down on the batteries to be sure they are firmly seated so that the light actually turns green. As for the batteries and my intent to use them only as backups... A genuine Sony NP-BX1 battery weighs between 22 and 23 grams. The Newmowa batteries weigh 22 grams, even though they are slightly smaller than a genuine Sony battery. However, the Newmowa battery has a much thicker plastic casing, which adds to the weight of the actual battery. Thus, I do not expect the battery life to be as long as that of the Sony and will use these batteries only as backups when I know I will not be taking a multitude of photos. If the charger continues to work well, this will be an outstanding purchase.

So far, these batteries have provided equivalent charging/power as the over-priced Sony brand batteries for Sony RX100. The small form factor of the charger makes the batteries and charger easy to fit in small cases for travel.

Best dual charger it keeps my battery charged the size of it make it where it can fit anywhere and not be in the way and it’s portable.

This is the second set of Newmowa batteries I have ordered for use in my Sony RX100VI. New these batteries average 66 minutes of video recording before exhaustion. After 2 years the number is 56 minutes. For original Sony batteries the time new is 64 minutes and 58 minutes after 2 years. So at $7 each for the Newmowa vs $50 for the Sony batteries these represent a tremendous value.

I carry a Sony RX1R II with me most of the time, especially when travelling, and I've never had an issue with the camera except for keeping the battery near full charge. Wandering around, framing and taking photos, the battery seems to last a few days, which is fine, but I always like having spare batteries with me in my camera bag. WhIle I can remove the battery and charge it after each day's use, I much prefer having a full battery handy at all times. I looked at the official battery from Sony, but since I have used a Newmowa charger and battery pack with my Nikon Z7 with considerable success, I ordered the Newmowa charger for the Sony NP-BZ1 battery. The charger is a different design from the Sony official charger, looking more like the one I use for Nikon batteries, but it works just as well. I can charge the Newmowa and Sony batteries three at a time, and always have a fully charged battery in my bag. There's been no performance difference between the official Sony battery and the Newmowa batteries (two in the box) that I have noticed. You don't get a wall adapter in the package, just a USB cable. I've used the charger successfully in Canada, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan and England with no issue at all. With the cost of this charger and three-battery pack about the same as buying a second Sony official battery, and getting three batteries instead of one (and, I prefer the charger design, too), it's hard not to be enthusiastic about this Newmowa offering. It's been in steady use for four months now, with no issue whatsoever. I love my Sony RX1R, and now I always have a backup battery. Highly recommended for any supported Sony camera!
