Socks for when you graduate from black
Tired of black socks? Men's clothing departments make me think that I've wandered into some post-apocalyptic style nightmare. Now striped socks are not all created equal and you can pay a bundle for stripes (I sometimes think they price by the stripe!). These are good value, fit well, wash well, don't shrink and are comfortable. While described as ankle socks, the go up a good way, so you won't be embarrassed by untanned leg showing under your cuff (oh what a faux pas that the fashionistas would surely rend their hair and wail, but that is another story). I've bought lots of socks from these folks and recommend them too for their service.

Bright but Tight
If I have to fault the socks, the elastic around the leg is a bit too tight. It seems to be a common problem with new sock design. I have bought socks elsewhere recently that almost cut off circulation. These are much brighter thou.
