Anvil Gator Grip is a water-borne 100% acrylic, non-slip, textured coating that provides a decorative light texture on wooden and composite decks, concrete and masonry surfaces where a uniform look and increased traction is required. It is non-flammable, low odor and is environmentally safe. Can be used as a decorative and protective coating on wood decks and stairs, concrete, asphalt, pool decks, patios, sidewalks, ramps, balconies and more. GatorGrip will help prevent weather deterioration of concrete and wood while providing a unique durable light surface texture. Helps hide surface imperfections and revives old weathered wood and concrete surfaces. Resists damage from moisture, salt, chlorine, gasoline, and oil. Easy clean up with soap and water. One gallon covers 60 sq. ft. in two coats while concealing surface splinters and is resistant to cracking and peeling. Remove all dirt, efflorescence, grease, oil, waxes and other foreign material that wold interfere with the adhesion. For concrete use Anvil 1450 Cleaner & Etcher following label instructions. To further insure maximum adhesion to smooth troweled concrete, prime with Anvil 1750 Grip Tite High Adhesion primer. Weathered wood should be primed with Anvil 235 Aqua Seal Waterproofer Bonding Primer, allowing easier application of Gator Grip. Apply with brush, roller, squeegee or texture pump. Use a synthetic roller with a short nap 3/16 or 1/4 inch working in a slow back and forth motion. Then finish by lightly rolling in one direction. The second coat should be applied at right angles to the first coat. Work in 5 x 7 foot floor area. One flat surfaces pour approximately 1/3 gallon in an S pattern and evenly distribute by roller. For increased cleanability and chemical resistance and a satin finish, top coat with Anvil 2350 Wet Look Sealer after the Gator Grip has properly dried.
