HUGE! I bought this for my 9 year old daughter's room 3 months ago. It has held up well with heavy use. I have not noticed any shedding and to my surprise the Ivory Shag color has remained clean. It has taken some time to un-stiffen but I believe this is a plus that may help it last much longer. Overall it is comfortable and big enough for even me to lounge on for a reasonable amount if time.

I write this review as I'm sitting on it. It looks just like the photo and it's super confortable! I bought 2 like 4 months ago and they are still big and filled. I can see why someone would wanna buy extra beans for it but I don't think that is necessary at least for now.

My daughter loves this thing but it takes up practically 1/4 of her room! It's HUGE!! Although it's super comfortable, it's not a good selection if your space is tight. More appropriate for a large family/bonus room as opposed to a bedroom.

We purchase the gray shag model and after a few months of normal use (sitting while reading), this chair developed holes in the fabric. We fixed the first few, but they are appearing at a rate too fast for us to keep up with. The room where this is located is covered in small white foam balls.Seems like such an easy fix for the manufacturer: to put the beads in some kind of a plastic or fabric bag that would be inserted into the shell to prevent the beads from escaping even if a hole in the outside developed.Very disappointed and suspect that we'll have to throw this in the garbage soon.
