I am pleased with this purchase. Can carry on my key ring or hang on my purse for easy access. It would be nice if it was a little louder, but overall, just as described.

This made a great gift for my Mom, who walks in the early morning darkness. Simply having a little light weight, flashlight on a key ring, is a nice part of the daily walk. Add a siren and a strobe light and you could easily scare off an animal or person. The alarm is easy to activate by pulling the top pin, but not so easy that you would accidently set it off. It is loud when you're holding it and the strobe light is visible in the darkness. However, I don't think it's quite loud enough to alert someone in a nearby home that you might be in distress. You cannot see the strobe light during the day.Consider your location. If you're in a densely populated location, people probably will hear and see the alarm.If you're rural, like us, you're more likely to scare off animals and weirdos.Either way, it's a valuable little device to have.The price is super affordable.The color is adorable and it just looks like a cute keychain.It doesn't weigh anything or take up space.

I'm not sure about how it works. This was just delivered, I open it, go to put it on the key ring thing and it broke. Very disappointed

The media could not be loaded.  This is a personal alarm that has a loud streaking alarm and a light. The light has a strobe light used when the alarm is set of along with a switch for the light if you just need to see in the dark. The alarm doesn’t seem to be as loud as another personal alarm we have. They both say 130db but this one is clearly not as loud as the other.It has a nice wrist strap and is easily put around your wrist or attached to a belt loop or lanyard.Good quality, enough siren loudness and a good light.

This little unit is light weight, easy to use and loud enough to attract attention. I keep 1 in my vehicle, one in my purse and each of my kids have one- they keep it on their backpacks when they go hiking. If it scares away a curious predator- animal or human -it’s worth every penny!
