Hey there, fellow parents! The journey from a crib to a big-kid bed was both exciting and nerve-wracking, but let me tell you, this magical invention has been a game-changer! First things first, bidding farewell to the crib felt like a major milestone. It was like watching my baby transform into a full-fledged adventurer, ready to conquer the land of big-kid beds. But with that excitement came a teeny bit of worry. I mean, let's face it, those tiny humans have a knack for wiggling their way into unexpected predicaments. At home, we have a Montessori style bed with railings, so I felt pretty secure with that. However, with travel we have a travel mattress - so knew we needed some creative solution. Enter the bumper railing! This ingenious creation instantly became my secret weapon for peace of mind, especially when we're out and about. You see, this nifty contraption is like a portable fortress of safety. It wraps snugly around the edge of the bed, creating a gentle barrier that keeps my little explorer from taking any unexpected tumbles. We are a holistic-minded family, so I was look for things labeled Okeo-tex tex, Certi-pur, and so on. This set of numbers seem to be fairly clean with no nasty off-gas smell upon opening. Love that the covers are washable, as well.

I bought these to keep my 3yr old niece from rolling off the bed when she's here for a sleepover, and they work great! They were fully expanded almost immediately, no chemical scent. The covers have non-slip grippers on the flat side, very effective on cotton blend sheets. I tucked the sheet under them just a bit for extra security. I had no worries about babygirl moving them and rolling out of bed, and she loved her little nest! 100% recommend.

My 3 year old finally decided he wanted to start climbing out of his crib. So we knew the inevitable big boy bed was coming. When I saw these, I wondered if they would even be tall enough to work. They definitely are as you can see in the photo. I took them out of the package this afternoon and here we are at 8 p.m. going to use them for the first night. I’ve already discovered that they don’t prevent him from climbing out to come tell me he isn’t even tired haha, but they will at least prevent him from rolling out and face planting in the middle of the night. Buy them. I’m so glad I sent those ugly rails back.

I was a little worried about getting this due to the reviews about one of the bumpers staying flat due to shipping, but I had no issues at all. I really like these better than the side railing. I feel it made the transition from a toddler bed to a twin a little easier to adjust to. I will say I do have to adjust one often because it is the side that my daughter ends up leaning on, but she cannot fall out.

Just set up this big girl bed for my toddler. I felt that the side rails that came with the bed weren’t enough and I didn’t want those that attach and you fold up and down. These are PERFECT!!! They filled up right away, still gave it the 24 hrs before use. They are super comfy and No Smell, which was a big deal, a lot of these products come with an awful smell you can’t get rid of. Despite having these on my girl was still able to get on and off the bed without any issues. At night she slept super comfy and I didn’t have to worry about her rolling off since she likes to move so much in her sleep. Def worth the purchase.

For parents of wild sleepers and/or toddlers: My son started climbing out of his crib earlier than I would have liked, and did well in his toddler bed for a good while, but as he got a little bigger, he would move around in his toddler bed so much as he slept that he would hit the sides, making enough noise to wake him up. We decided to try him on a twin bed with these bumpers, (we had learned that he would roll off of the toddler bed onto the floor if the guard rail wasn’t present). We put the bumpers underneath both the mattress cover and the fitted sheet. One bumper sits between the side of the mattress and the wall to fill in the gap since he’s still a little enough guy that he might get stuck, and the other bumper sits on the other side/edge of the mattress. After he finally got used to the idea of sleeping on his “big boy bed,” he has done remarkably well thanks to the bumpers! They stay in place, even when he sleeps sideways on the bed, pushing his feet against the wall and his head against the bumper, and he doesn’t fall off the bed! What a GREAT product.

I purchased a set for when my 7 year old and/or his friend sleeps in a "regular" bed (his bed doesn't need this). They regularly roll off the bed. I think we've used them for that purpose once so far, they worked well, neither kid rolled out. But these are a pain to store, because they are long! So in my spare room, I kept this set on the spare bed. One on the far side of the bed (not much traffic and the dog doesn't have to climb over it) and one up at the head of the bed, just to keep that one out of the way. These are installed under the fitted sheet. On the occasion that me or my adult guest sleeps in that bed: we find the side rail so comfy! It's feels good to have that soft yet somewhat firm support against my side or back, depending how I'm laying. It's kind of like cradling me. Try it, you may like it, too! I didn't expect to like this for me, a grown adult who doesn't roll off the bed, but I do.

LOVE these bumpers amd would definitely recommend!! 1. Reasonable price considering they are Certi-Pur Us certified foam and have a bamboo cover! Compared to other bumpers for higher price and this is a 2 pack! 2. Well packaged! Came with little exacto knifes to cut the plastic packaging, very convenient. Easy to open and expanded very quickly, no smell!! 3. Product itself is certified and listed on the Certipur-us website. Comes with an awesome waterproof, washable outer cover which is so soft and looks nice too. Also I LOVED that the foam itself has it's own thin non removable cover (which believe me makes it SO much easier to put the cover back on after washing because the foam doesn't stick to it- I have other bumpers which are not individually covered and it's a bit tricky and finicky to get back in properly) 3. They WORK!! Foam is soft if you sit on it and touch and push down the foam, but very FIRM and sturdy foam which keeps my kids from rolling off their beds!! Even I tried to roll off my son's bed with these on and it took effort!!! So I highly doubt my kids would be able to roll off their beds in their sleep. 4. They stay in place!! They have a wide base and grip on the bottom cover which makes them stay in place once the fitted sheets are over them. Just make sure the sheets are deep enough to fit the bed and the height of the foam it's just under 4.5 inches when I first measured. 5. They are long enough to fit the exact area of a full sized bed where kids sleep, and cover the full length of a toddler bed! Which is perfect. BOTH my kids are using these and they've slept in their beds all night ever since 💤😊 Very happy mommy and kids!

This product was designed to prevent small children from falling out of bed, however our whole family uses them for comfort - I actually purchased them for myself to use as a backrest when I am laying in bed and it has improved my sleep quality and back aches immensely. My daughter loves them too, to cuddle during the night. They don't move due to the 'gripping' material on the underside. Excellent quality, firm, innovative product. Packaging was surprisingly small - the product very cleverly enlarges to full size once unpacked. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

We were trying to decide whether to purchase a toddler bed, rails or bumpers for when our grandkids stayed over night and gramma's and grandpa's. The toddler bed was took up too much room for the occasional overnight stay and bed rails seems too cumbersome. We thought we'd try bed bumper first and we're glad we did. First off we liked the fact that bed bumpers work with any bed, they're unobtrusive, easy to install, portable and inexpensive. We choose the Milliard Bed Bumpers mainly because they were similar to other bed bumpers on Amazon and the lowest price $44 for a set at the time of purchase. Most of the bed bumpers seem to be the same or very similar so I would shop and take a look around Amazon for the best deal. I've seen these and similar bumpers priced between $35 and $100 so you can save a lot of money by comparison shopping. We're very pleased with the build quality of these bumpers. They are made of foam and covered with soft washable fabric cover. You get two bumpers in a small box. The bumpers are squished inside the box and after unrolling them and leaving them sit for 15-20 minutes they expand to their full size and shape. Installing them on the bed is a breeze. The can be installed underneath the fitted sheet or if you are using a mattress protector pad ... underneath the pad. For our bed ... installing the bumper under the mattress protector pad worked best. Our mattress protector pad had larger side elastic so it held the bumpers perfectly and also provided them with a second layer of protection. Once installed these bumpers are very functional and do their job well. We have two toddlers (2 & 3) and the bumpers safely cradle and protect them in the bed. Portability: Another benefit of bumpers we initially didn't consider but truly appreciate is their Portability! We have a cabin at the lake and take the bumpers with use when the grandkids come out to visit. If you're a travelling family staying in hotels these would work great while travelling although they don't squish down or compact as small as their original shipping box. Overall we're very pleased and happy with our purchase. The quality of these bed bumpers is very good and at a price of $44 dollars a good deal. Highly Recommend!

I've put in my 3yrl old daughter bed and it works a beauty!

Bought this for my 3yo. It does what it says on the packaging! But- when he slips out of bed in the morning he always moves it to the side of the mattress so I need to adjust it a lot
