Don’t waste your time
If you’ve had a chemex before, stick with whatever you had that made you happy. Mine could fall off a counter and bounce, happened numerous times over 6-7 years. It would slip, fall, whatever normal wear and tear with accidents over half a decades worth. This one was not that at all. I wouldn’t want to grip it too tight. Very very fragile feeling (I’m not considered strong by any metric), and just low, disappointing quality. I am sorry to write as I had very high hopes. I do however thing this would be great for cold coffee or teas. Just not hot coffee, and be very careful with the glass, don’t bump on side of counters or anything, even gently.

Broke very easily
Would not recommend. Glass is extremely thin. The device broke after the first use after tipping over while drying. Buy something more durable unless you can guarantee it will never tip over.

this is a coffee pot. the coffee does not drain, it overflows because it is a worthless design knok off

Seems okay. The metal filter isn’t heavy duty so hopefully it holds up over time. It did not come with the paper filters as described. I think it could be priced a lower but I like the convenience of the pour over method. Coffee tasted good.

Looks good. It works well. A handle would be easier to use, but it won't look as nice. I would buy again. It fits no2. cone filter.

Fantastic cannister, but the filter fell apart after a few uses.

The filter has two layers that are poorly sealed from the inside. Every time you use it, coffee grounds get I side the two layers posing a threat to ones health as there is no way to get them out from between the layers of stainless steel. This is a manufacturi g or design defect that must be fixed. Other than this the unit works fine. Also, amazon has a bug that won't let me put 1 star.
