Description
- You are purchasing one 12", one 10" and one 8" round targets, all are constructed of 3/8" AR500 steel.
- Targets are constructed out of 3/8" AR500 hardened steel. Each target has one 5/8" hole for hanging or mounting.
- Targets are painted white. Paint over bullet splatter as necessary for continued visualization of the bullet strike. Either side of the target may be used.
- WARNINGS: *Shooting steel targets can be dangerous. *Always wear safety glasses, and appropriate clothing. Bullet fragments can be directed towards shooters or spectators. *Never shoot steel core, armor piercing, or other hardened ammo at any steel target. *Never use ammunition that exceeds 3,000 feet per second or ammo that travels below 750 feet per sec.
- * Always stand at least 100 yards from the target when using rifle calibers or shotgun slugs. * Always stand at least 15 yards from the target when using handgun calibers. *Do not shoot at any target that is bent, cratered or damaged in any way.
Minimum recommended rifle distance from target-100 yards. 100 yards is sufficient for some .223 and .308 ammunition. Calibers and ammunition with higher muzzle velocity require increased distance to impact in order to prevent target damage. Maximum recommended impact velocity for minimum target damage is 2700FPS. Please refer to a ballistic chart for your caliber. Minimum recommended pistol distance from target 15 yards. Hanging the target face pointed slightly downward will help direct bullet splatter down and reduce the risk of injury. SHOOTING STEEL TARGETS CAN BE DANGEROUS, SEE WARNING ABOVE.
