This is a genuine Clinique product and such good value. Plenty of colours to choose from as well.

soft and practical
I wanted to buy one of those after seeing their ads on duty free and airport magazines. I've always liked Clinique and used Clinique products but never considered paying 16 pounds for lip balm. When I saw this product at a reasonable price I thought I'd give it a go. Its exactly what it says it is. Its a chubby stick that makes your lips really soft and protects them from drying in winter. For, 6-7 pounds its a good buy, considering that even a basic Vaseline product is around 2 pounds. The only down side to it is that it doesnt really have any colour to it. I bought both the super strawberry and whooping melon tones, but they are basically the same. They dont leave much colour on your lips. I didnt expect them to be like lipstick obviously, but I thought they would have more of a tint. May be if I were a pale person I would be able to see the colour more. Other than that, they are really practical and you feel the softness instantly.

Texture is Creamy rather than matte
Lovely to use glides on, doesn’t dry lips but it is more of a creamy texture rather than matte, and it doesn’t last so I had to reapply, you can build the colour up, but I have to say the colour is so different than picture. Quite expensive in my opinion I thought a more expensive and branded one would be better definitely not the case.

It is all right. Doesn’t last... but the texture and colour are perfect. Natural looking. Too expensive. It was hard for me to make the decision to buy it. I love the design and how it slides... the satin finish is gorgeous. But somehow the quality is not 100% there. Glad I bought it. Fancy lip balm with some colour in it. They didn’t lie, it’s what it is. 7 out of 10. Being generous. 6 if you remove the wonderful Clinique design. There are numerous similar ones from other brands more or less expensive. I like it but it is not amazing or the best lip balm/treatment I own.UPDATE: Yes, I still love the colour and texture. I wish it could be more hydrating. I bought another one “mimosa” more pinky tone. To sum up. They are ok. Reliable product. Not perfect but ok. Happy with them. Best solution for my dry lips when apply over my excellent lip balm. Natural results.
