Attractive Gift
The knife is very attractive, and well made. The blade is sharp, it's edge hold is good, the knife isn't heavy and the handle is comfortable. Very nice knife.

Actually a good knife
Bought this as a novelty, but ended up loving it. Couldn't believe how well it cuts. Only thing is, is that its pretty hard to sharpen.

Hit OR Miss
Whether this knife is going to be enjoyable(or "Worth It") for you comes down to the handle. --Mainly if you can put up with the gap or not, but also the fact that at certain angles your hand will slide into the bottom of the blade. --While that little curve isn't sharpened it is still sharp enough and at such a curve that it will beat up your hand. It's also bothersome to nestle your hand there if any pressure is applied. -- The handle is also not very sturdy due to the strange gap in the wood. I could totally see it becoming cracked with heavy use and certainly if something struck it or if your brave enough to try and chop with it. --The craftmanship of the blade is good and will certainly last most people a long time. -- The edge is questionable... while it is a good round edge, you typically want that for durability. If you want durability then that usually means your going to be chopping or cutting at hard stuff, but if you do that with this knife your hand will bleed and the handle will break. As you can see most of my complaints come down to the handle, so if you made it this far and can honestly say that none of that concerns you(or you want to put your own handle on it), you'll probably enjoy the knife.
