How can you go wrong with licorice.

For those weird people like me that love the taste of black licorice, move on...This is not going to be pleasant. Product bag is only about 5 inches tall...a very small bag. But that is a bonus! Because after popping one of these disks into your mouth you'll just end up throwing it all away... including the one in your mouth. First of all, the disk is highly unchewable. It is neither soft nor pliable. Even with heavy jaw pressure it is impossible to chew. Yes, it labels itself as a "hard sweet coin" ɓut even hard candy such as cinnamon or butterscotch disks can be broken up by chewing it. This licorice, no. It's literally like chewing on a buffalo nickel made of leather. Secondly, the black licorice taste is non existent, especially if you can't chew it. You're better off going to the liquor store and buying a bottle of Sambuca. This product went from opening of the package to the garbage pail in literally one minute... maybe a minute twelve... the whole bag. I was certainly not impressed.

I have purchased these five or six times now I love them. I ordered two more bags that were delivered to me yesterday and they taste and smell like plastic- really bad. They are awful.

Great flavor. Very firm in texture. In my hunt for the best licorice these are a front runner. I don’t like the gummy soft style so these hit the mark.

The taste was definitely sweet and better. I love licorice! This just hit the spot! Salty but not too salty.

This is Belgian style hard sweet licorice. The item was fresh and the taste and texture was what I remember from Belgian licorice. The local specialty store that I used to get these from closed and I was glad to find them on Amazon. They are a little expensive but if you like Belgian licorice they are very good.
