BriLoveWomen's Victorian Style Crystal Floral Scroll Cameo Inspired Oval Stud Earrings

I did not buy these for use as earrings, but to make a matching necklace and ring set for a Halloween costume. I purchased the “Amethyst Color Antique-Gold-Tone” set thinking they would be the wine red color shown in the photo. They are not red at all, but a hazy purple when held to light, and dark purple with regular lighting. Luckily they came with a bright red velvet bag. I cut the red velvet and glued it to a cheap necklace fitting I popped the stone out of from Walmart. I placed the earring on top of the red velvet fitting and used epoxy around the edges. This gave the gem the wine red color I was looking for in light and deep red in regular lighting. If you are looking for the deep red shown on the store page, this isn’t it… unless youre ok with a little DIY.

My daughter bought these for a Victorian Tea Party. They look great with the outfit but hang low on the earlobe.

They sit lower on my earlobe than I thought. The post is at the top so they hang and aren't as much of a button earring look like I imagined but they matched my dress well that I bought them for and they were definitely commented on at the wedding I wore them to. Fun costume jewelry for a decent price.

These are gorgeous and will be perfect when added to the black and white shawl purchased.

I like these ok, and did buy a second pair in black and silver. But I didn't give five stars because the earring sits really low on my earlobe and just doesn't look exactly right. The stud is way too high on the back. I may try to find a way to make them into dangle earrings because of this. I haven't really worn them because of this issue, unfortunately. But they are cute. If you don't mind it hanging low on your ears or if your piercings are really high up on the lobe, they will be fine.The color of the "amethyst stone" isn't actually purple or red, either. It's almost more of an amber. Don't expect it to be true to the photo.

Will be using these with my mother of the bride outfit. Just perfect!!!!

These are not pierced as it says in description. Very disappointed.
