Great ultrawide for the money.
I will start with presenting the pros and cons, so you don't need to read all of my review if you don't want to.PROS Freesync Height and tilt adjustable stand Good resolution that isn't hard on your GPU Great colours Decent speakers Good viewing angle from the sidesCONS It's primarily glossy plastic The stand isn't toolless Doesn't have an USB hubIf you're here, because you can't enable FREESYNC here is how you do: You need to download LG on screen control for the 34UM68-p under monitor control you will find Freesync as an option. The LG 34UM68 is properly one of the best ultrawide monitors you can get in this price range. The stand is made of molded aluminum covered partly with glossy plastic and partly by some other plastic product, which actually does a decent job of looking and feeling like aluminium. The height can adjusted about 12 cm and the tilt from around -5 to 25 degree. The back of the monitor is also made of glossy plastic which of course means that it's like a magnet for fingerprints and not very scratch resistance, as seen in my last picture. In terms of IO you will find 1 display connector and HDMI connectors for you video and audio signals. You also get a Headphones pass through. The monitor is powered by an external power supply, which uses a normal laptop AC lead. The package only include a UK plug, but you can use any other laptop cable between the wall and the power supply. On the bottom of the display you will find 2 decent speakers, considering they are sitting on a PC monitor, and a menu nob. The menu is great a very intuitive, with a lot of options. However the option to enable freesync, which is disabled as default. I order to enable freesync you need to download the LG on screen control software, where you will be able to enable freesync. When it comes to the panel, there is nothing to lay a finger on. It looks great. When sitting normal distance from the display, it looks ultra sharp and the amount of screen area is fantastic. I was a bit skeptical if a 34 inch was to big, but it isn't. If i had to choose between 5 inches more or 5 inches less, i would choose 5 inches more. Looking at the colours of the display. Well i think they look great, but I'm not a editor, so don't trust my opinion on that. But what about games?! Well gaming on this is crazy. The extra field of view on the sides gives a lot more vivid experience and makes games that fully support ultrawide look great. However i don't think i would recommend it for competitive players. Freesync does make a difference and i can clearly see when it isn't enabled, but I don't think it makes a big difference. In movies it's amazing. The aspect ration is the same as most movies and therefor you get no black borders. However a lot of streaming services doesn't support ultrawides as of yet and therefor you will still get black bars on for example Netflix.I have seen that a few people complaint about that the display is not borderless and the pictures LG provide makes it look like it. Therefor I have included a few photos of the borders with a ruler. I think it's a big deal but, in case you wanna know, there is 1,5cm on the sides, 2 on the bottom and 1 cm on the top.All thing considered i think this is a great product and the only problem I have had, was that I couldn't enable freesync, but when you know you need Lg on screen control, it's no problem. Great ultrawide for the money.

Best value 29" Gaming Ultrawide
I was in the market for a 29" 2560x1080 Freesync IPS display. After a lot of research, it pretty much came down to three different LG displays:29WK500 (£205) - This monitor.29WK600 (£286) - Same panel as the above but you get sub-par speakers & an ugly "fake HDR" effect for £80 more. Skip this one unless you really need the built-in audio.29UC88 (£370) - The best 29" Freesync ultrawide on the market at this time. For £165 extra you get a better panel (true 8bit colours rather than 6bit + FRC), speakers, variable height monitor stand and a very slight 3800R curvature. While technically better, the price increase is not justified in my opinion unless you manage to grab one at a discount. Now back to the 29WK500. This is one of newest LG ultrawide monitors and it seems the quality control has been improved. Miniscule amounts of backlight bleed for an IPS monitor of this price range is amazing and my unit had no dead pixels. Coming from a 16:9 monitor the gaming experience on an ultrawide is simply superb, especially for immersive, racing & FPS games (given proper support). However, bear in mind that many older games require tinkering and modding to support 21:9 resolutions. The PPI of this display is equivalent to a 23" 1080p monitor, resulting in a very sharp picture and crisp text when sitting about a meter away. The top & side bezels are only about 1cm thick; the colours are vibrant and rich; set up was easy with the included HDMI cable and the software which allows you to custom split your screen is great for productivity. Finally, some tips for a quick & painless setup:- Don't forget to set your refresh rate to 75Hz in Windows (Display>Advanced Display Settings>Display Adaptor Properties>Monitor)- Head over to LG's website, download and install the Win 10 Driver and then the "On Screen Control" App. Open the latter and head over to the Game Settings to enable Freesync- When gaming with Freesync make sure to have vsync enabled in game. This ensures that you stay in the 40-75fps Freesync window without input delay. The only downside to this is that there is a tiny bit of added latency if your GPU is capable of outputting more than 75fps (still significantly less than normal vsync). If this bothers you then additionally use Radeon Chill or Rivatuner SS to cap your framerate to 73fps (do not use FRTC for this as it can interfere with Freesync's algorithm)Recommended.

Gran calidad precio
