Manrose DECO100TC 4" 100mm Run On Timer Chrome Extractor Bathroom Shower Fan (Chrome Timer 1-20min)

Had previously purchased a different model by the same maker & have been suitably impressed my that, so am expecting the same service from this.

I was replacing a existing fan, which technically was by a different manufacturer. However the units were identical in every respect & detail. This was my main reason for purchase. I ordered a Chrome finish, but received a Brushed Aluminium. However, since the old fan was identical I was able to reuse the original cover.Just hope this new one lasts longer than the last one which failed after just 2 years.

Easy to fit looks really modern

Nice looking fan, bought to replace a broken Manrose. It was a bit awkward to fit for 2 reasons. The outlet is about 3mm wider than the old one being replaced. Therefore it did not fit inside the 4" pipe through the wall. Needed to cut the pipe with a dremel to to get it to fit. Second the wall fixing screw points are only 12mm from the edge of the outlet hole. With already crumbling plaster these are far too close to the edge. The old model had fixing holes 25mm from edge, a much better design. In the end decided to glue it to the wall. Looks good now it's in, but the design could be better from an installation point of view.

Good quality for the price. Works well enough in our bathroom.

After fitting it I tested it using vapor, it does not extract anything at all ?
