We used this to stop the leaking on a 45 year old hose bib that would no longer turn off. Worked great. No leaks, it's been on there 18 months & shows no signs of wearing out. Bought a second one for back porch. Still great quality. The levers are very very tight to start with - mine wouldn't turn - you may need a small philips screwdriver to loosen them up a bit.

I have bought 4 plastic 2 ways and 3 ways. They have broken or leak in weeks This is METAL works perfectly does not leak. Has little on off Switches at the top for each individual Hose. I love it

I live in a rental unit where the pipes constantly freeze in winter months. To prevent this problem, I used to keep the cold water running from the basement faucet during those cold nights. However, installing a washing machine that required use of the basement faucets changed everything: Now it was necessary to unscrew the cold water line from the washer and feed it into the drain. I always waited until the last minute before bed because my landlord pays the water bill. For the same reason, I would wake early the next morning to re-attach the cold water line to the washer. What a pain!I tried "kludgier" solutions involving tubes, Y-hoses, inline shut-off values and the like, but water leaked everywhere. Then I picked up this great little part from Amazon, and three minutes later I had this connected to the faucet and a hose leading to both the washer and the drain. The splitter is all brass and heavy, giving me confidence it will last a while; the brass valves are silky smooth and don't stick, even when I have the faucet valve wide open with lots of water rushing through. Great little product.

I don’t usually write reviews but this is so nice. Finally I have a way to hook up a garden hose right next to my washer in the basement. This allows me to wash things on a rainy day or even in the middle of winter when it’s freezing outside when I used to have to wait. since it’s inside I appreciate the sturdiness, for fear of a water leak. Very easy to install And use

I have a large garden and use a 100' garden hose, I also have a sweet little dog that needs water while we garden, normal Garden hoses are not the same as Drinking Water hoses and the chemicals leached from normal garden hoses are not ok for you or your dog to drink.. so i needed this brass Valve for my 4' Safe to Drink hose and my 100' garden hose. I was worried that the pressure would significantly drop in my longer hose but it didn't drop a bit.This is a solid well built valve that replaced a cheaper valve I had. Great simple product.

I've seen too many plastic (and partial plastic) units experience early leakage, and so far, so good with this item and its 100% drip-free shutoff valves. It's very solid and well made. The Seller is very concerned and committed to Customer satisfaction. I'll be keeping a steady eye on it and will try to report on its progress down the road.Update 6 months later... still works great... no leaks.FINAL UPDATE: (approx. one year since last update) --- Well, nothing really IS made to last anymore. It finally blew out after being permanently attached and pressurized (outdoors in the Nevada desert) for a total of approximately 1 and 1/2 years. It cracked in the middle and basically exploded with the of course ensuing flood. So... to be fair, instead of completely trashing it with my original kneejerk reaction of downgrading to 1 Star, my rating will go from a 5 to a 3 since I guess "Average" is as good as things get these days since most everything has been outsourced to, as President Trump would say... "CHY-NA". Don't know if anyone makes anything better but I'm still disappointed after all the original praise and satisfaction. These things should still not happen. It's NOT that long of a time, and I believe it's because of cheaper, more thin-walled metal, unlike the long ago days of (Made in USA) yesteryear.

The taps were stiff at first but soon were great

Leaks everywhere. Replacing seals was futile. Tried on two different hose bibs and two hoses trying to make it work but it just can't seal on another hose. The valves seem to work fine but not the part you connect to a hose to split from. Sending it back Do not try this one.

The rubber seals provided do not seal on the hose bib. It began leaking everywhere. Larger and thicker seals are needed. When replaced by my own seals it worked better but they should be providing the correct seals.
