Monroe Shocks & Struts RoadMatic 181128R Strut and Coil Spring Assembly

i always buy Monroe shocks and struts these came with the rubber seat not installed properly and the upper mount center bolt loose. You torque it down and still it comes loose after two weeks. I am not sure what is going on but Monroe answer just to return them and then what get the same bad piece again. You also have to buy a camber kit for your car to adjust the camber and caster but it will not follow the manufacturers specs on the alignment machines. Especially if you have rear axle that is not adjustable you have to keep adjusting it until the back is aligned. I would have kept these struts but they kept making clicking noises even after applying the right torque. IF it wasnt for amazon I would be in such deep water. I paid over 400 dollars to keep removing them and reinstall them. You buy them in one assembly so you do not have to do that. You can see the original struts have the rubber seat and hook in the right place after 10 years still. I would always suggest for chrysler vans especially town and country and dodge caravan grand caravan and their cars to buy original dealer item or exact oem equipment. What a nightmare not being able to drive the van for weeks and dealing with Monro was a nightmare. Thank you amazon for helping me through the situation and making it right. I am weary moving forward buying any suspension parts from amazon or online for that matter. I am going to the auto part store or dealer and save me time and money. I tried to save money I end up spending more time and aggravation. Avoid buying these shocks.

I’ve had these on my vehicle for a year, they are terrible!! I just had them replaced, and I am upset that I even purchased these. The mechanic looked them over and let me know that they have manufacturer defects. They gave a terrible ride, and for the past several months it has felt like my vehicle was going to fall apart. Do not purchase these!!!! I just had new struts that are made so much better than these put on my vehicle, and I can now tell the difference. I have a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country.

Product arrived in time stated and free of defects. Installation was straight forward with no fit issues. These were installed on a 2008 Chrysler town and Country with 131,000 miles. I have had them on for just over 10,000 miles now and they are a noticeable improvement over the worn out OEM struts. I would recommend as an OEM replacement.**NOTE** I ordered both right and left struts at the same time, they arrived 1 day apart from each other. Not really an issue just an FYI.
