Lovely buy it!
Great book! As soon as it was delivered I didn't know what it is was and opened it in front of my daughter by mistake and her eyes drew to it straight away! It's a lovely story, lovely pictures and great sounds! And it's a Christmas present for my little girl hopefully she's forgotten about it now I bought it when she was about 16 months and St Christmas she'll be nearly 20 months! I think it's a good book for all ages from little baby's who start to learn to press buttons and like sounds and images and toddlers and older little ones who are starting to read too so I think it's great for most young ones

Yet another lovely story by the very talented Julia Donaldson!
I am a primary school teacher and the Julia Donaldson books are always a big hit with the children. This story was no different. The children were glued to it and enjoyed looking for the ladybird on every page. It was also very funny and the children loved listening to the different animal sounds. This is a book I will be reading to children for many years to come! :)

Amazing, rhyming story, that we all love to read. We give all the characters their own voices. We must have read it a hundred times already. A must read bedtime story.

We first picked up this book at the local library. It immediately became the only book that our grand-daughter wanted to read that week. She loved the rhyming and filled in the ending of the sentences after the first time we read it together. She is four. Her little brother, two, also loved the story. I tried to find a local bookstore that had it in stock, and could not find it, so I ordered it through Amazon for Christmas. She was thrilled when she opened it and had to read it immediately. The text is wonderful, and the illustrations of the various animals are terrific as well.

My son loves this. He was 19/20 months old when we first read it and he loved it. We borrowed it from the library and then ended up buying it here. If he doesn't feel like us reading the story he plays hunt the ladybird on each page. Room on the Broom is also awesome. She's a brilliant author. We have her 10 book collection ordered.
