It isn’t a pattern for an absolute beginner, but if you’ve done any appliqué, the precise instructions will guide you, Block by Block. Not a detail is omitted, so you will learn everything from how to mark your background, how to appliqué the flowers and how to finish them with embroidery. Even the embroidery stitches are covered. As in her previous books, Deborah Kemball has done an outstanding job. I should know - I have them all! Do yourself a favor - buy this book!

Love this beautiful book. The quilt is stunning. It is definitely not a beginner book, but even if you don't think you would ever make this quilt it's just fun to drool over it. Absolutely love it.
