Loud but an effective air conditoner
Having read the latest reviews on Amazon slating the machine for being loud, here is my tuppence worth:The machine is a lot smaller than the previous Amcor air conditioner I had, though ironically the Sealey vent hose is far longer. Yes it is loud, like sitting in an airport departure lounge without a roof loud, however it does the most important for me - significantly cool a room down. I have no idea about the running cost as yet, lastly the unit comes with a remote control. Overall I am pleased however the only concerns are:The hose is quite flimsy, the shaped funnel vent for the end of the hose to stick outside a window is very difficult to remove once fitted, and draining water from the unit isn't straight forward without it leaking.I've barely used the machine being honest and hopefully will update this review if necessary, however if you want peace and to be cool then you'll have to spend a lot more on an air conditioner, otherwise this currently works as intended.

Inefficient, noisy, hose too short
I've had a previous airconditioner that I bought used off a well know auction site for £30, but which was huge so I got rid and replaced with this one. Mistake. This one cost 10x as much (admittedly new) but is far noisier, less effective (see below for why I believe this is the case) and the hose is too short to reach a top-opener while standing on the floor. The reason this is so inefficient is that the volume of air it uses to blast the waste heat outside is huge. So where does this air come from that it is using to carry the waste heat....it comes from the room....and where does this room air get replaced from....the hot outdoors. I.e. to carry the waste heat out it is drawing warm air in from outside. Of coarse all portable air conditioners have this efficiency disadvantage...but this Sealey model is particularly bad as it uses so much air - far more than the one that I binned and which was more effective. When I have the money I will get a fitted unit - far better in the long run (and fitted ones can also heat the house in winter)

Cheap Exhaust
Arrived today opened set up to test, unit itself is ok works produces cold air, very noisy for what is supposed to be a home unit. Will it keep everyone awake at night we will have to see.The exhaust pipe 🤔is so cheap stiff plastic it barely bends, the window attachment is a waste of time unless you have sliding windows which nobody in houses does,no expense has been put into design of a exhaust that will work without having your window wide open HELP YOURSELF BURGLAR ❗️Why are we constantly ripped off with cheap made in China products that do not do what they are supposed to do without now buying a descent exhaust system.Sealey Quality not even slightly.

BUY IT! You won’t regret it.
Amazing! use it all year round as my house gets very hot it’s good to say in the 38 Degree hate this air-conditioning unit blows your socks off and it’s very easy to move from room to room, best money I’ve ever spent, only down fall is it’s a little loud but worth it.

Very loud
It seems to be extremely loud, even with headphones its way to loud to be in the same room. the fan makes all the noise, if the fan had a lower setting it would be ok but the low setting is barely any different from the high setting.

Very noisy
Very noisy.Didn’t seem to be any different on low speed, compared to noise from high speed.Couldn’t watch tv when in lounge and certainly couldn’t have it in the bedroom.

A little noisy but great performance
A little noisy to sleep with but great apart from that. Cools the bedroom very quickly. Needed an extension to the exhaust to get it outside.
