Forget about nails, screws and tacks, Command Hooks are fast and easy to hang! The revolutionary Command Clear Adhesive Strip stick to many surfaces, including paint, wood, tile and more. Yet, removes leaving no holes, marks, or sticky residue. Rehanging them is as easy as applying a Command Clear Refill Strip, so you can take down, move and reuse them again and again.

Good for curtains. Swap the adhesive strips for velcro ones.
I use these to hang curtains without drilling into my walls. Once they're securely hanging, they're great. However, they don't seem to work as well on plaster as they do on drywall. If you want them to be really secure, buy the large velcro Command strips and use those instead of the adhesive strips that come with the hooks.

Perfect for curtain rods!
I used the jumbo Command hooks to hang a curtain rod and curtains. (I can’t add holes to my walls) I used 3 jumbo hooks for a 60” window. I used a lightweight curtain rod and it rests perfectly in the hooks (if I had a smaller rod like 5/8 or 1/2 smaller, it would have gone all the way down into the hook, but I like the larger 1” rod size) I did not use the adhesives that came with the hooks as they only hold 7.5 pounds, I ordered the 16 pound picture hanger adhesives from Command Strip. I applied the stronger adhesive to the back, pressing for a few minutes and making sure it was really secure on the hook. Next, I placed the hooks on the wall. After a minute of pressing, I removed the hook (they click on) and applied firm pressure over the adhesives then put the hook back on. (so I could be sure the adhesives were firmly on) I waited 24 hours before placing the curtains and curtain rod on the hooks. If your walls are slick or have older paint, they suggest wiping with an alcohol wipe before applying. This is a great renters option!!Update- months later and the rods are still up!

Works great for my curtain rod! Leave some room above where you place it..
Got these for my ridiculously wide window in the living room to hang a curtain rod. Had to use 3 of them. I feel very foolish for not giving myself room above where I put them.. Now I have to snap and break them when the time comes lol. You live and learn I suppose. Basically it has to click “up” to remove from the inner plastic housing the secures the hook the wall. If you don’t give it room above where you place it, you can’t click it upward to remove it without just full on breaking it. Anyhow, works great! I did learn my apartment uses VERY CHEAP PAINT. Be careful when prepping the surface. These things aren’t going anywhere, literally; very sturdy. I want to say my window is 86 inches wide.. Pretty long rod hence using one on each end and one in the middle. They actually look very nice too! You can always spray paint them to match your decor.

Don't put anything valuable on these
Didn't work... wiped wall with alcohol first, followed directions perfectly. Hung great for the first week. The 2nd there was a large temperature change, these things crashed to the floor and broke everything that was hanging on them.

Product works great!
Edit!: the product works perfectly! I only have one hanging currently because I’m lazy and keep forgetting to do the others, but that one currently holds two of my bags, my purse and my backpack for work. They’re not the lightest bags and it doesn’t even flinch and is still up!Also, about the missing ones: the seller contacted me and offered a refund or to send the missing ones and actually sent another set of 4 which was and is amazing. So I’ve upped my rating to 5 as these have met my expectations and the seller was fantastic at addressing my issues! The product itself seems fine. Just mounted them and am waiting like the directions state, will update once I’ve used them for a week. However, the product and price was for FOUR of these and I’ve only received TWO. The plastic bag the cans in even states 4. The bag itself was ripped at the seam. The only option Amazon gives me is to return. I don’t want to return, but I feel like I’ve been cheated.

Used these to hang up curtains.
I live in an apartment and decided to try these to hang some light weight curtains. The rods and curtains aren't heavy, so dispersing the weight across two made me confident they would hold since even one is marketed to the hold enough weight. They blend in nicely with my rod choice so you can hardly notices its command hooks instead of a bracket.

Slightly defective pack
So I got this pack as I needed to hang curtain rods up in a rental, and I've done it in the past with other command hooks. However, where you normally slide these up after putting on the wall so you can press on the clear plastic piece to secure the adhesion, these refused to do so without taking one or both plastic backings with them. It eventually resulted in 1 failing twice, a few weeks apart, and another failing once after about a month. I ended up buying a single version as the first one broke one of its backings and the new one slid easily, so not sure if just the 4 pack I got was defective or what. That said, the other 2 have remained up on the walls just fine.

Items stuck for about 4 hours
Two of the four hooks fell off. They are supposed to be able to hold 7.5 kilos each. I used these to hang 5 pounds of curtains across a 6 foot bay window. I pre-cleaned with alcohol let everything dry and followed the directions too the letter. After an hour of letting the adhesive cure I replaced the hooks and hung the curtains. I went in to make dinner and as my family was sitting down I hear a loud crash. The curtains had fallen down taking some picture frames with them from the table below. I'm not sure if these are the real deal or not but 50% of the units did not function as stated. (I have used these before and the ones I used before are still holding strong.
