Good drawing board
A good drawing board, pity they don't seal it, but that's easy enough to do. Baulked at the cost of drawing boards for over 50 years so won't go into that here!

Very good board
This is the second one of these I’ve bought. I use them to tape my paper down when using watercolours or acrylics, or for drawing and sketching. They are fairly lightweight for the size and nicely finished. I like the fact that they are in fact slightly bigger than A3, so that you can use them for A3 size paper (unlike other boards which are exactly A3). One thing you can’t use them for - which I found out the hard way - is stretching watercolour paper, as they tend to warp if you get too much water on them. I’ve found them ok for applying wet washes whilst painting, however.

Great laptop table
I wanted a cheap, simple and sturdy board to place between a laptop and my legs while sitting. This is perfect as it’s rigid and light.

Lightweight and sturdy
This is the second board I’ve bought. Lightweight and sturdy. Perfect for drawing on the go.

Ideal size
Does the job... takes an A2 size sheet with enough space to tape the edge of the paper to the board. Lightweight and sturdy. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5... a wee bit pricey for a simple sheet of MDF. ;-) but it was very convenient to buy.

Proper A2 dimensions!
These are great boards. I bought one, tried it out and then bought another.I placed my own paper on this board so you can see it has room to tape on A2 paper. The edges and surface of the board are smooth, no splinters or rough bits. It’s thick enough so it’s sturdy and doesn’t bend.I’ve not got the board very wet but it’s been fine for using washes on the paper, getting a bit wet at the edges of paper, that sort of thing.I’ve been very impressed and would buy again.

Made of hardboard
I was hoping for a traditional wooden board as I used at art college , but this seems to be made of hardboard . This is fine of you are only using it for dry work . I do not think it suitable if you want to stretch a piece of paper for watercolour work .
